These are absolutely fantastic and a proper bargain. They are real, solid leather, and made to look aged. The fit is spot on with a very soft leather nubuck adjustable chin strap. There is also a small pouch inside the hat where you can place a pad to adjust the fit, if required. These are very well made. Delivery was also fast, well packaged and arrived undamaged. I'm so pleased that I've purchased the light brown one for my wife. Highly recommended.

The first one I ordered had to be returned due to too many scratches and cuts on the leather (the hat will be part of a collection). The return was smooth and the refund quick, so congrats to the customer services.The new hat arrived in no time, and this time in pristine condition.The leather is premium, and you can see that the manufacturing is of high quality. The colour is exactly as I expected, dark brown, and the thickness is amazing, which makes the hat really sturdy and hopefully durable.Now, the only thing needed is some good maintenance and care, like waterproofing the hat and the use of a good leather conditioner now and then.I definitely reccomend the hat and the seller.

I feel like this is almost a good hat, but the quality of the construction is just slightly off, and these little things let the whole thing down. What do I mean? Well, the stitching on the crown is slightly off, which means the crown is not quite level. The hat band is also not glued on square, and therefore the front concho is slightly to the right of where it should be, and where the hat naturally wants to sit, so I either have to adjust the hat to the left, or just forget about it being slightly off centre.The biggest con for me was that the leather had only been spray dyed, and had not had any kind of treatment for water resistance. My hat was therefore like blotting paper when I dabbed a little water on it. If I had worn it outside in the rain in that state, it would have ended up a soggy, out of shape mess. It certainly would have had a distressed look about it. I set to with some Nikwax waterproofing for leather, and after 3 rounds of rubbing the wax in and then letting it air dry, it is now looking good and ready to be worn outside in all weathers.The hat is a very good fit, and I like that it came with a leather retaining strap for windy weather.It is a shame that the build quality is slightly off, but the hat is comfortable to wear, and I suspect I will learn to accept or ignore its faults.I guess the hat reflects its price point, and that "you get what you pay for" as my dear old mum used to say!

I ordered an XL, which according to the size chart is 62cm.The order confirm email stated that I'd ordered a 60cm, but it was too late to do anything about it. It arrived a few days later, and as expected was way too small.I returned it immediately and ordered the XXL, which doesn't appear on the size chart, however the confirmation email states is 61cm. It's taken 4 weeks and a complaint via Amazon's customer service to get the refund processed.The second hat arrived a few days later and initially felt a bit small, pinching in a couple of places, but after wearing non-stop for a couple of weeks, it's broken in and now fits well.I used to wear cricket hats, but they never conformed to the shape of my head and would end up hurting after a while. Now broken in, this one holds its shape and so is a lot more comfortable. The 6yo chose the style, so he's happy too.

I bought this hat to give me shelter when I'm out walking. I've had a similar one for years and it was time for a new one. Sun or rain, it gives good cover.It is proper, great quality leather and, as I expected, has the occasional natural blemish. I used Leather Genie to treat it when it first arrived and what a difference it made to its appearance. Beautiful.On arrival it felt sturdy. First impressions were that it felt hard and not quite the right shape for my head but its natural leather so I wore it around the house for a few hours and it began to soften and adjusted to me. Now it feels like it was made for me. So glad I trusted the quality of this product and gave it time to fit.Mine came with a chin strap. Handy at first to keep the hat on when the wind blows. The longer I wear this hat, the better it fits. It has taken a few false starts from different suppliers to find a hat this good so I'm sorely tempted to buy another Walker and Hawkes as a spare.Update - I now have three of these hats.I love them.The latest one I bought in March 2024.

It was an ompulse purchase that I will never regret !! I barely tool it off over the summer when away on holiday in sunny Europe. The wide brim really does shield tour head face and neck from the effects of the sun, the adjustable brim perfect for keeping the sun from your field of vision. The chim strap was very useful when windy - out for a cruise on the sea, it was more than a mtch for the offshore winds keeping my precious hat firmly attached to my noggin !!!

Very nice hat that is made with quality leather and stitching. Fits very nicely ( but make sure to follow the sizing chart provided ( one size doesn't fit all ). I recommend the sweat and size stick on bands I have taken a picture of. ( you can buy on Amazon for 12$ )..over all, 5 stars!
