Consistently great crimps everything time!
I have a boat and a utility trailer and this crimper has made repairing the wiring on the various lights on the trailers much easier. The trailers invariably come with poor quality butt connectors that corrode in short time. The Greenlee crimper makes exchanging the cheap butt connectors with the proper heat shrink connectors easy!

Poor Crimping - Connectors Slip Off
I have had this crimping tool for around 3 years using it mainly for my street legal dirt bike and my UTV or side by side which is now also street legal. I have always struggled with this tool but when I recently installed the street legal kit on my side by side I became frustrated to the point I decided to make others aware. Simply put, the crimps made using this tool are not of sufficient quality so that the connectors stay attached. If you use another tool to recremp, you can get by. This tool also sometimes cuts the wire near the end of the insulation. I have other crimping tools that work great but this is not one of those. I am tossing this tool and purchasing another tool.

While not as nice as Wiha
While not as nice as Wiha, APEX or T&B, these are surprisingly rugged and pretty well built for the substantially less price. They have the replaceable dies just like the others and have been a workhorse for me thus far. I used APEX for years until my crimpers and dies were stolen, so I am used to performing the task with a higher end crimper. I believe these Greenlee's will do the job just as well for years to come.

Termination Is No Longer Frustration
Get it right every time with these. The only downfall is the need for multiple crimping dies and they tend to be expensive. With the exception of that however, you can't miss with these. You get the comfortable feel in your hand, the leverage from the length of the handles, and the ratcheting action that lets you know exactly how much pressure is enough. Perfect.
