This sword is absolutely amazing! The workmanship and craft of it exceeded my expectations! I am a huge Game of Thrones fan and when I saw the sword in episode 9 I immediately thought to myself, "What a bada** weapon!". I couldn't believe it when i googled it that they were selling a replica. The weight and feel of the sword is exactly what I imagined it being like. The wolf head pommel and the red eyes of "ghost" is breathtaking. There is only 2500 of these made and I wouldn't part with it if you offered me 4x what I paid for. Now time to go hunt some whitewalkers!

I bought this sword when it first became available for under $200. Sad part was, Korean customs thought it was a real sword and made me send it back. I got my money back, but look what it is worth now. It was legal to bring into Korea because it had a blunt edge, but the Korean custom agent was not very bright....

This has to be one of the coolest things I've ever bought from Amazon. The sword itself is nothing short of pure awesomeness! The way the blade is designed you have no doubt it is Valyrian Steel. I can't wait to get to the wall and test this baby out.

After receiving the sword in the mail recently, I realized that the weight of it was a lot heavier than expected. I thought that the sword was simply a replica. Boy was I wrong. I immediately left the warm, safe confines of my chamber to beyond the Wall and immediately tested the sword on some Whitewalkers. Cut right through their undead flesh like a hungry dire wolf through a freshly butchered steak. It was only after a brief tussle with a wildling woman did I feel revitalized from expending so much energy wielding this sword. I now feel confident that myself and other members of the Night's Watch will be able to defend the 7 Kingdoms from any blue eyed devils that might try to penetrate our mighty mortared structures. Although I am not officially a Stark, I am trained enough to wield a sword as mighty as this.

My copy of the well-executed in stainless steel ASoIaF Longclaw arrived just after the 2012 Memorial Day holiday, right on the heels of Valyrian Steel's website announcement that this hand-and-a-half beauty was now officially sold out; talk about cutting it a bit close! This is one beautiful, well-made fantasy sword, one of the very best 'wall-hangers' I have in a (select) and growing collection of non-lethal fantasy and movie-related reproduction swords. From its wonderfully executed color product packaging sleeve, to its sturdy styrofoam product shipping container, which also includes a silk-screened mounting plaque (and hardware) featuring a running Direwolf and the House Stark motto "Winter is Coming," to the personally signed GRRM certificate-of-authenticity, Valyrian's sword package is more than value received, it is an outright bargain at $240.00. It easily compares to United Cutlery's excellent "Lord of the Rings" sword reproductions in terms of quality, price, and value received. I can only imagine how terrific the HBO "Game of Thrones" series reproductions of Longclaw (and the other on-screen used swords and knives seen) now that Valyrian Steel has contracted to produce them for the growing and enthusiastic "Game of Thrones" TV viewing market. My pocket book will be much, much lighter in the future, but I'll not be complaining: More than value received leaves no room for anything other than praise and a very big Thank You to Valyrian; long may you forge!
