Functions well, installation pretty straightforward.
My setup for this dimmer is connected to a pair of 2300 watt Bromic Patinum heaters. I ran 10 AWG wire at 240V since my amp draw is under 30amps. The dimmer includes a wireless remote that allows 4 preset levels of power, and also a +/- that allows finer adjustment increments. With the included remote, you can only include both heaters together. In other words, with the included remote, you can not set one heater to 50% power and your other heater to 100%... both outputs are controlled together. There are many additional system controls built into the control box, but the instructions don't fully explain what these do. I found that this dimmer is actually made by Teleco Automation, model tvhet916a07bk. There are options for other sensors and controllers. I am looking into adding a dimmer level indicator box since it can be VERY hard to tell if your heater is on or off without waving your hand around under the heater after it has had some time to cool down, but so far I haven't tracked it down.

Great when working correctly.
I purchased the remote 5 times. A few from amazon and a couple from retail stores. All of the remotes units broke in less than a year. The on/off switch would not even function. The bromic heating unit itself has worked perfectly. The remote (which was warranted)unit (when it was replaced for free) each time also entailed having an electrician come each time and I needed to pay him. My last remote which was purchased 2 years ago has worked flawlessly. Maybe bromic has fixed the issue or maybe I was lucky and received a great replacement I am very happy with the heater and now happy with the remote. They have allowed me to hang out on my patio year round. I live in soCal so temperature does not go below 45 even winter evenings. For me, it has been worth the inconvenience.

Failure to power on. No joy.
Had high hopes for this product. I have it wired to 240w load, then to a Bromic Tungsten Smart Heater. Confirmed power is getting to the dimmer control unit, however it’s not responding to programming (not even a beep) and fails to operate the heater. This is a huge expense for their controller so I’m considerably disappointed. I’ve left a message with technical support and hope to receive a response. I know their are less expensive options out there that aren’t the same brand. I will update this review if I gets up and running.
