Purfect for Big Cat Adventures
Sturdy, my fat cat fits in there and loves going on adventures! I got him used to it by leaving it out a few days in my livingroom with the back area extended out throwing treats into it. Soon he was laying in it thinking it was his new hut, that's when I zipped him up for his first outdoor adventure. Since he already had his scent on it and thought it was a safe spot he did not freak out. It is comfortable to wear and the bottom does not bend with his weight in it.

Plenty of airflow and spacious backpack 🎒
My tuxedo 4.5 lb kitty has plenty of space in this backpack 🎒 He travels with me almost on a daily basis and is very comfortable. I travel a lot and dont have enough hands to carry all of my things so this versatile backpack has a sturdy top handle and straps that allow me to carry my kitty on my back if needed. It's a must have IMO!

Great .. I have a Yorkie (8-10lbs)
I love it for the basics. I wish the pockets were a tad bigger. I store his wipes and toys in bottom, insert his blanket then put him inside. Overall it get the job done, I did buy two of the expandable bowls to clip on the handle for food & water.. I put his food / snacks in ziplock bag to put in the side pockets a. There’s not pocket for a water bottle so I may purchase a clip able one of those too.

Great Quality Pet Carriers with Some Size Considerations for traveling on airplanes
I purchased 2 of these pet carriers for my Yorkies—one weighs 8-9 pounds (with surprisingly long legs for a Yorkie!) and the other is a petite 5 pounds. Here’s my detailed experience with both sizes:At first, I ordered 2 large bags, but the large size was too cramped for my taller Yorkie (I measured him at 16” standing but the bag was too short). His head would hit the top of the bag, and he had to bend his neck awkwardly even when the sizes said 17.4”H. I exchanged that one for the extra-large size, which fit him much better. However, the extra-large bag is quite huge on me so made it difficult to carry on my back, i’m a petite person (5 feet tall). It was prefect for my taller partner (6 feet tall), so we made it work. The large bag, on the other hand, was the perfect size for me to carry and prefect fit smaller 5-pound Yorkie. The extra large bag can fit both dogs but it was a little snug.We used these bags for our recent flight with Alaska Airlines, with upgraded premium economy seats to ensure our pups and us had extra room leg room. Here’s what we learned:Extra-Large Bag: Challenging to fit this under the seat. We had to push the narrow top in first and really squeeze it into place. Thankfully, the flight attendant didn’t mind the bag sticking out.Large Bag: This slid under the seat perfectly (also top in first), with no issues.Negative: Comfort-wise, the extra-large bag has a padding on the back bottom area that protects your lower back and buttocks, which made it more comfortable to carry. However, the large bag doesn’t have this padding, and the hard edges on the bottom could hit into your back and buttocks while walking and if you’re carrying it for a long time, it caused a little discomfort. The included mats in both bags are quite hard, but we brought along tiny blankets for added comfort during travel.Pro-tip for traveling, doesn’t hurt to ask the gate agents if you can pre-board, It’ll require extra time without feeling rush; since you need to adjust the dog and bag to lay downward. Luckily on both of our flights, the Alaska Airlines agents were very empathetic and accommodating.Overall, these carriers are well-made, loved the lock features on all the zippers for extra security, and very durable, but the sizing and comfort features are worth considering based on your travel needs. I’d highly recommend them, especially if you make a few adjustments for your fur babies’ comfort!

Sturdy & good so far
So far so good, nice and roomy, kitten can see out & there's vent holes. For circulation. Good straps soft, pretty easy to pull extensions out.

Probably the best cat carrier of all time.
We bought one of those little bubble window hard plastic backpack carriers for our cat years ago and it got used to take her to the vet and that's it. Total pain to transport with the weird shape and you couldn't store the thing anywhere thanks to the structure of it.We had a trip coming up and decided we needed a new way to carry both of our cats and purchased two of these. Absolutely outstanding quality. Love how it's completely collapsible to the point you could store it in a drawer or the corner of your closet, but we honestly barely collapse it at all because the cats love to jump in and live in it for a while with the back pulled out.You really can't ask much more for a cat carrier than the cat to be delighted to be in it. The mesh is strong and has stood up to a little bit of biting and scratching, but generally we have tried to be sure the cats don't do that, anyway. The straps are comfortable when carrying the cats around. With the expandable back collapsed, it works great sitting sideways as a more traditional carrier, as well. Sits up nicely in the car on roadtrips and acts as a very nice safe space compartment to ride in. The fact that it doubles as a little living space while at your destination is a huge bonus. Well worth every penny! If there had been some way that it could expand even more or that you could connect two of them to be able to get a small litter box into it and have an even larger enclosure, it would be literally perfect.

Worth three times the purchase price…huge value for the money
Buy with confidence! I love everything about this pet carrier. The extension is easy to deploy and put back. While in extended mode, the designers were thoughtful about handle placements (there are 2) allowing the extended carrier to be picked up and moved around without having to push the extension back into backpack form. My cat loves to come outside while I garden and this is perfect for keeping him safe and near me while I do my outdoor chores. Seriously just buy it

Good Quality and Comfortable
I first got the one with the clear window and I loved the idea and look of it, but I couldn’t remove all of the plastic film (was sewn/stamped in) so it looked dreadful and I returned it.Just got this to replace that one and - although I haven’t used it yet for a hike or walk - I really like it.It seems sturdy and the strap system is good quality - like a hiking backpack - so it can be carried safely and comfortably. Can’t wait to use it with kitty 😽
