Pacific Laser Systems PLS 3R 3-Point Red Tool

I’m not trying to build the pyramids, just need a pretty darn straight line in rooms no bigger then 25’ wide, and this delivers. The line is easy to see, very boldly colored. Easy to use, gives me well beyond what I need for basic picture hanging, drywall lines, or anything else that needs to be level. For the price, this was an absolute find.I have not used it outdoors, so can’t talk to fence lines or anything long running you’d install out side.

Got this as I needed an accurate way to shoot in floor heights, siding control lines, plumb points, and help establish a level plane to establish stud lengths when the floor isn’t level. Can see the horizontal dot 60’ away in 100 degree California sunlight. Hands down worth the money and at 1/8” +/- in 30’ you can’t beat it.

I’m a rough framer and only do custom homes 7500 sq and above. So for my type of jobs this laser is so needed at all time.This is my second model purchased because the first was stolen with all my tools. The first one I had issues with the stand and barely pointed the bottom. The issue was with the base but now they improved dramatically. The base is bigger and wider and well designed. I have only bought pls laser brand before but this one is actually the best of all the brands out there.

Don’t buy.. can’t see the bottom dot unless you put it in the edge of something .. if I square a line on a 2x I have to move it to the edge of the line to see the plum line above.. buy there cheaper for laser it’s much better

units are a little on the thick side they're user friendly

The quality is awesome and the lock is a good feature to keep laser form losing balance
