Oxyclean versatile stain remover Love this!!! I use it in most loads—I avoid putting it with blacks and colors although I have in the past without any issues or fading. It gets clothes brighter and whiter—the stains seem to not stay! It dissolves easily in all water temperatures. I do not like the clear but the regular powder is fabulous! The scent is nice and lasts in clothing.

If you want reliability, ease of use, and great value, this should be a staple in your home. I use it as a laundry detergent booster to get clothes remarkably clean. Works great as a stand alone stain remover as well.

2026 review. I've been using OxiClean powder for years. OxiClean works well for cleaning clothes, and I use it with hot water and it gets the stains out. For stains already washed and set from before, a long soak or long hot water wash works. The soap is powerful, and sometimes just needs hot water and time to work, such as a long laundry cycle. The OxiClean container's lid however needs work. In stores, there is always powder all over the outside of the OxiClean containers, even in the special displays where that's the only detergent there. I decided to have OxiClean shipped to me to avoid another trip to the store, but when it arrived the OxiClean container's lid was off, and half of it spilled out into the shipping box. The lid had a thin plastic retainer band but this was sheared right through. The cardboard shipping box itself was leaking all over, as cardboard boxes aren't sealed to contain powders. This was a large mess to clean up. The powder itself is good, but the lid needed a redesign for years now as of May 2026. I consider the product's own container as part of the product, as it affects usability. If it can't survive the rigors of shipping, a redesign is needed.

This product works awesome for my clothes and keeping them fresh. I use it in addition to laundry detergent and I love how good it works. It helps with stains and odor.

I use this plus tide to soak stained items and, in extreme whites cases, add a splash of bleach. Also, use it in washes that I want to have extra sparkle. Bought it twice from Amazon and will continue if the price remains stable. I’ve tried many products and haven’t found better, it’s a staple!

The original formula OxiClean. The scent is mild and not overpowering like the new "odor eliminating" OxiClean. Works well as a laundry additive or to use as a pre-soak.
