For the price this thing is pretty great. I like the different colors as they're easier to see than Rubik's (despite knowing how they are oriented on the cube it's still nice visual confirmation). I will say that if you're looking for a really smooth/fast experience this is probably not your best bet. Even with it tensioned just right and with or without lube, it's difficult to get it flowing consistently. As a result, quick solves are a bit stifled. But again, for the price that's to be expected. The build quality seems good. I've dropped it countless times on hard floors and though the adjustment screw covers pop off, nothing has broken yet.

This is the second time I've bought this. The first one I gave to my young nephew when he was entranced by the concept (he'd never seen one before). Then I turned back around and re-bought it. The selling points: EASY to use. The mechanism is smooth and fast. LOW PRICE. At five bucks this is a good buy. (I wouldn't pay more for it.) It is a bit smaller than a standard Rubik's cube, so be aware of that. But overall it works well. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 because the yellow side is so light it can sometimes be confused for white. That's its only downside.

Got bored one day and wanted to learn how to solve a rubix cube, it does its job.

My son (7) had been begging for a cube for forever. He had seen videos online and really wanted to try it out. This cube was a good price and seemed like a good beginner cube, so we gave it to him for his birthday. I watched a ten minute video on YouTube to figure out how to solve it and then taught my son. Now we have challenges to see who can solve it faster. It has been a really fun way to bond and we can talk while we solve. :) The cube is pretty study and moves very smoothly. Every once in a while, it will look like the pieces are about to come apart, but you just press them gently and they go back together. We've had it for several months now and it's still going strong! We are VERY happy with our purchase.

A pretty nice cheap cube! Though the pieces fall off from time to time, the turning is smooth. I would consider it a small cube but you might not. I would recommend you to buy this, this is a pretty good deal for its price, in my opinion.

Bought it for my son to keep him away from gadgets.....The operation is very smooth. Instead of going for the cheap ones, please consider buying this

This thing is awesome. For it's price it is a 5 star but if compared to others that's slightly more expensive, it is a 4 star as the movement is just slightly rougher.
