I have red, blotchy skin which I hate. I'm not fond of lots of concealer and foundation but I thought I'd give this product a try to see if it made me any happier with my face. One review mentioned she even liked using it when she did not put on foundation. That's what I've been doing and I'm thrilled. No, it doesn't cover up all the red. However, it does exactly what it says -- it BLURS. My skin looks less red and smooth and even. It's a keeper for me.

I was skeptical to try, I have very sensitive skin. I have used the pore reducer and I had a mild breakout during what I call as a transition faze. Since I have redness prone skin, I decided to give this a try. Once again, a brief period of breakout. After a couple days my skin has adjusted. I definitely see a decrease in the redness. Product goes on smooth, does not leave a greasy feeling. I apply my makeup soon after application of the primer. My skin feels soft and eventoned. I will purchase again. My reflection for my review was based on the breakout faze only. If you are a person that has sensitive skin, this may not suit your preferences. I know my skin and this is the norm for me with any new product. If this product continued my breakout, I would not have chose to continue to use it.

Good stuff

So, I am on an endless quest to find the right primer that will help tone down my rosacea cheeks, but not break the bank. I want something that will blend well, not too oily, I can use with or without foundation/powder, does not cause sensitivity issues, etc.. I truly do like this formula. A lot. But it doesn’t do a lot for redness control. Even the color out of the bottle is barely tinted green. It goes on so smooth and nice. I put it on and I could see a very slight difference, but it wasn’t enough to make me a total convert. I have combination skin. With a majority of my rosacea focused in the cheeks. Because of the medication I am on for blood pressure, I can get very red faced on occasion, but honestly, I don’t think any make up – besides very professional stage make up- like what Jeffree Star can do, would even make a difference on days like that. But for just basic day-to-day red toning? This sadly is not it. And it’s a shame because I honestly like how it works & feels. For now, I’m going to use it in conjunction with the Elf green concealer and see how that works, but unfortunately, I will have to pick a new green face primer.

The primer has cream like consistency. After application it feels smooth and moisturized. Foundation applys really well with this primer. I'm really happy to have tried this primer for the first time and it worked for me.

Quality is very good. Redness is gone.

This product is brilliant for evening out skin tone and disguising any redness. It’s perfect if you don’t want to use foundation but do want to camouflage any imperfections. However, this particular product made my face sting. Which is odd because I use a very similar product by the same company and have no problems with it. I did wonder why there were two versions so am guessing they each have slightly different ingredients.

I bought this product for a quarter of what I have paid for other primers and I have to say that this product gives a better result. Light weight, good coverage and has a mattifying effect. I have not noticed any "blurring" but it does tone down the red from my acne scars. Will definitely buy this product again.
