This thing is seriously impressive. The PB Swiss Insider 2 feels like it was designed by someone who actually uses tools every day. It’s super compact, fits right in your pocket, but still feels solid and well-balanced in the hand. The bit storage is slick — spring-loaded and easy to access — and the magnetic holder keeps everything locked in tight while you work. The included bits are top-tier, like you’d expect from PB Swiss. No cheap filler here — just ten useful, high-quality bits that cover pretty much everything I need day to day. Whether I’m doing a quick fix at home, adjusting gear on the go, or working on a project, this tool has become a go-to. Honestly, it’s one of those rare products where you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It’s functional, beautifully made, and just works exactly how you want it to. Totally worth the price.

It's very well made, the ratchet is smooth and precise, and its very compact. The bits appear to be of a harder steel than cheaper competitors (based on noting but feel and machining).

Didn’t realize how much the weight of a screwdriver matter until I started trying to work with this behemoth. Too heavy, space is great and I know it’s not possible to have both but dang…she thick.

PB Swiss Tools Screwdriver PB 6510.R-30 To be fair, giving these three stars feels a bit unfair. The PB Swiss PB 6510.R-30 is a superb screwdriver: the build quality is excellent, the bits are extremely strong, the ergonomics are outstanding, and the bit-storage mechanism in the handle is clever and genuinely different from the usual carousel style. The ratcheting action is silky smooth, and the magnet is impressively strong. Compared to my Milwaukee ratcheting driver, the Milwaukee almost feels crude. But here’s the rub: it’s $82 for a screwdriver. Even accounting for Swiss manufacturing, that’s an eye-opening price point. I’m a tool nut, and I’m fortunate enough as a hobbyist (a retiree) to splurge on high-quality tools just for the enjoyment of them—but even so, this one pushes the boundary where the guilt starts to creep in. Honestly, I wouldn’t have bought it if it weren’t for some of the almost-religious reviews floating around—especially for the stubby version, which I tried to buy elsewhere (Amazon didn’t have the 01 size). In some of those reviews, people practically achieved enlightenment just from the clicking sound of the ratchet while unboxing it. Not from using it—just from listening to it. I enjoy finely made tools and yes, I’ve had my own little euphoric moments with well-designed gear, but despite the quality here, I did not transcend to a higher plane of existence while test-clicking this one. I haven’t used it in a real project yet—just testing it straight out of the disappointing “nothing bag” it ships in, which is totally underwhelming for such a pricey jewel of a tool. But from handling it, I can say this: if you work in a trade where precision screw driving is part of your daily life, this could be a justifiable investment. If buying this is a financial stretch, you can absolutely live without it. There are plenty of other drivers—Arrow, Milwaukee, and various clones—that cost a fraction as much. Their bits won’t match PB Swiss quality, but at 1/10th the price, you can buy a lot of replacement bits. Personally, I think that I am keeping this one mostly as a novelty, and I’ll even still pick up the stubby when I can find it, but I am weird that way. For tool nuts who want “the best” and the people who appreciate driving a Porsche and willing to spend money for that, it does rank up there. For the reasonable people and everyone else, there are many good options that won't leave you in the red. The photos I posted include two other PB Swiss drivers I just bought: one is a ‘simple’ ratcheting driver without bit storage - still very expensive, and the other stores bits in the handle but doesn’t ratchet and costs much less. It seems the ratcheting mechanism is a major factor in premium pricing

You can feel the sturdy build as you hold it in your grip . Think this will last a lifetime with top notch performance in terms of magnetic grip and ratchet movement.

Excellent multi-head ratchet driver. Nice to have the various heads (Phillip, Common, etc.) in the handle for quick change access.

The idea is great but makes it bulky and not very comfortable. I thinks it’s pricey because of the brand.
