Pretty sure they are acrylic. We got some real amber too, not no fossils in those. So this was my insurance policy for my grandchildren.

I thought it would be a variety of different bugs! Not just bettles. And hole that was not centered.

Well, first fact that it’s not amber. It’s a poly resin. Fact two of you put a hike in the center it would not only ruin the center piece( the bug),and it would crack the dublet. ( two half pieces glued together) They are well made but not real Amber.
