Excellent and sturdy if you screw it into a stud.

This is screwed low to the wall my bed is against. When I get up, I just reach and pull. Also helps during the night to turn over.

I used this on my mother's basement stairs since her handrail did not extend to the top of her stairs. We mounted it to studs so she could hold on to something near the top of the stairs until she reached the landing. She says it feels very sturdy.

My 94 year old mother has to use these. They work great. Very sturdy.

Good to grab on to near a step, shower or tub. Make sure you screw into the center of a stud of course. Help out your mobility challenged family and friends by mounting these in areas with a high fall risk. I use them in a vertical orientation. Cost effective and strong.

Does not stick very well yo our shower, only 1 sides seals. Shower is fiberglass.

These work perfectly. These even work with #10 wood screws, which I used to attack directly to studs. I always avoid the suction variety - those are worthless and utterly unsafe. I can't believe those are even sold.

when installing on tile drill one hole first on top, drill pilot hole for screw, lubricate screw threads with bar soap, hang from single screw, make plumb and mark other holes with marker, drill oversize holes in tile, 5/16 in my case, this allows for better screw placement as its hard to drill accurately located holes, drill pilot hole for every screw and libricate each. some reviews mentioned stripped screws, pilot hole and soap deals with that issue nicely. looks good and is quite secure, price is good for a qulity grab bar, would buy again without hesitation.
