It’s GREAT and so worth the money

Like the app
Works well stays cool when running. App works well and makes it easier vs ones with just a dial to select voltage.

NO "ISD GO" APP FOR ANDROID!
-- ISDT FD200 BATTERY DISCHARGER -- DON'T BUY - NO WIRELESS APP for ANDROID. Only IOS app works at all! They managed to ruin an otherwise good product by failing to deliver even a basic Bluetooth app to change settings. Which without it, the device is semi worthless. After buying it, I find out, For 2 YEARS now, this has went on. Google has REMOVED ISD GO app from the app store entirely due to lack of compliance. Without the app, you can't control what voltage the discharge stops at. That's literally the most important part. Mine came default at 3.80v, but if you used hivolt or li-ion, you would want to change that. I cant over state how important the app is to the correct functionality of the product! The hardware seems to work fine, but this is just crazy. Complete deal breaker. I would avoid this product entirely until this is fixed.

Remember it's 200W, which is more important than the 25A discharge option
Do I like this product... yes. It will indeed discharge Lipo and Li-Ion batteries faster that my ISDT FD-100 will. Now, what I wish I'd have paid attention to is the 200W rating vs seeing 25A discharge. Bottom like is that 200W REALLY limits how fast this unit can discharge packs, especially at higher cell counts. 2S - it'll do 25A discharge once the battery comes down a smidge, 3S it'll start around 16A 4s - 12A 5s - about 10A 6s - about 8A All that being said, it is a nice unit. It isn't especially intuative to use, but set your cell count via the right side button and you'll be in business. Use the ISDT Go app to control it / update formware. I bought it wanting a 25A discharger to quickly dischage batteries. I didn't get that seeing as I fly mostly 6s. That being said, it DOES discharge a heck of a lot faster than it's 80W cousin. I use dischargers becasue I use paraboards to charge and this lets be quickly bring batteires all down to the same level so they are ready to charge multiple batteriessss once. This also parks the batteries at storage charge which is convenient!

Very handy; which I'd had this years ago
The Good: This makes it easy to quickly discharge lipo packs for storage. I fly RC planes, and I never wind up using all the packs I've charge, and my flying usually doesn't discharge the packs to storage level. Before I got this, discharging the packs was tedious so I generally didn't do it, and my packs had shorter lives as a result. This makes it quick & easy, and now I always discharge all the packs after a day of flying. The Bad: The interface is a clumsy. There are only two small buttons (without legible labels) for controlling start/stop, # of cells, and discharge rate. You kinda hafta remember which button controls which thing, when to use a long press vs. short press, what it means when the lights are purple vs, green, etc. Bottom line: I can certainly imagine a better version of this, with better controls and maybe some useful outputs. But it's already paid for itself in improved LiPo pack life, so until something better comes along, I'll be using it a lot.

If you were into RC and have multiple batteries you need one of these
Pros Works amazing I sometimes charge the batteries and don’t get to use them all or get rained out and this is a great time saving Adam to help me discharge my batteries quicker. Does not have a balance port however you can choose the end voltage and it seems to be very close when it is done and then put it on my hobby grade charger to put into final balance/storage hold. Small size excellent build quality Will work with about any connector with use of easy to obtain adapters. Fan is a little loud but definitely keeps the unit nice and cool I have never had the internal temperature to get above 60 Celsius. I also use this to cycle my new Lipo batteries when I get them for a few cycles I can charge them discharge them and recharge them much quicker than before now makes my batteries hold charge and last longer. Cons The app for this unit isn’t great it works pretty well but doesn’t work great this is not a huge problem and the only thing keeping me from giving this five stars across-the-board in every category. But it is not something that would stop me from buying this unit over again. Some will say that this unit is loud and it does make quite a bit of fan noise but if you’re discharging at 25 A you have to expect some fan noise. Also some don’t like the lack of a balance port however this is not a balance charger or discharge her you still need to balance or storage charge your batteries after each use

As important to have as a good lipo charger
UPDATE EDIT: I've found the product either works or it doesn't, with respect to recognizing the "s" value (such as 4s, 6s, etc.). Sometimes you can click right through to the right setting, other times it simply will not and you get error messages in the app. At first I thought the phone app was nifty so you can see the progress remotely, but I decided that just wasn't that important. I've since purchased a different product that's working much better and is self-contained -- no app. So I'd say this product was good -- while it worked -- and bad -- once it became intermittent. Very frustrating. I have a very good charger (lipos, up to 6s for RC airplanes), but it will only discharge up to about 1A. If I charge 6 5000-6000 mAh lipos and then don't fly due to fog or whatever, that's a lot of time to get all of the cell counts down to 3.7v. It's probably not good to leave lipos fully charged for days, let alone all that energy sitting there in you home if something goes wrong. A club member told me about this product and both my father and I purchased one. It's smaller than you might think from the photo. You don't plug it in to a wall outlet, since it's powered by the battery you are discharging. It discharges up to 200W, which is a lot -- the battery voltage, times the amps discharge rate you select, equals watts. So as long as that number is under 200, you are good. The second lipo I discharge, I set at 10A and everything went fine. There is an app you can download that allows you to pick the amp discharge rate, as well as the final cell voltage, and monitors the progress via bluetooth. This unit costs less than a lot 6s lipos, so I don't see how you can go wrong. Final note, I expected it to generate more heat while discharging -- surprisingly very little. I only gave 4 stars on the easy to use because I don't think the directions are great -- the first time you use it, you may figure out most of it on your own. After that, I think it's very easy to use.

It works!!!
I use this to discharge my LiPo Polymer batteries. And I have some very large ones. You can set the discharge rate in amps and also the final voltage. Use it to discharge many batteries of the same charge on a multi balance board too. I now have 4 or them.

Excellent product
Just what I needed. Works flawlessly to discharge my batteries if I need to bring them to storage charge due to not being able to use them after I’ve charged them to 100%.

I like it
Great little unit. It discharges fast. Not much to say. It is on the loud side tho

A must have item for anyone who charges up extra battery packs but doesn’t use them all.
This storage discharging unit works great! It’s super fast and has a nice phone app that helps you monitor and setup up your discharge. It’s very important to storage charge you Lipo packs at the end of the day of use and for the end of the season! This unit will discharge your lipo down to 3.8 volts per cell in a matter of minutes instead of hours, that a typical lipo charger discharged will do. The fan is loud and the only drawback to this unit. I set mine on a mouse pad and that helps to quite it down some.

Buttons not very good
I have used this discharger about 30 times and one of the front push buttons has broken off. So as a result the unit is not useable now. I will never buy from this reseller again as I have no recourse but to buy a new Discharger for double the price. Piece of junk. Save your money.
