Beautiful addition to moms kitchen collection
My mom loves this set piece. She already owned the paper towel holder and when I found this and the other pieces, I was super excited to buy them as gifts for her. The cast iron has a nice, heavy weight to it and the red paint is just beautiful. Its a nice, rich candy-apple red. I bought all the pieces from the set I could find and she has them all beautifully displayed in her kitchen. Her accent wall is yellow, and the contrast is stunning with the red! The set pieces she now has are: paper towel holder, spoon rest, circular wall piece, and napkin holder. I wish there were more!

What's Not to Like?
It's a nice, heavy spoon rest. I did notice that it can tip a bit if you put something HEAVY (like say a huge wooden spoon passed down through generations that my great granddaddy carved) on it. But it does the job, and it looks good in the kitchen with the rest of our fire engine red decor.

Great spoon holder
It is a cast iron spoon holder, so what can I say? They did a good paint job on it, it is easy to wash, and it holds the spoon. Well worth the very reasonable price.

Should be bigger and wider but it's nice and elegant. Good for a gift for sure!!!
I bought the same in black. I actually love it... I just wish it would be bigger and wider. You really can only put one regular spoon on it and the space is done. When you cook... you need more then one spoon or similar... Also, the weight is not very stable.. one you put the spoon on it, it will most like fall... Overall though I like the quality of it.... as said, it's not 5 stars because it has this stability defect and it definitely should be a bit bigger and wider.

My old one was porcelain and kept getting broke. This one is rock solid.

Perfect
Gorgeous. Nice and heavy cast iron and the rubber at the bottom means it doesn’t spin like a spin top every time you brush against it. Exactly what I wanted and it matches with all my other red accents. Very happy with it.
