Usually I'll give a product time to fall apart or explode unexpectedly, but this thing is just quality through and through. While unwrapping, I'm telling myself I hope I like it because the mat looks awesome even rolled up - the colors are just as vibrant in person. The texture is well above what I had been used to on the standard, generic yoga mat. The raised bumps resemble that of a rope weave and feel great. The mat is thinner than my old one but is denser and more resilient. Less give but not uncomfortably so. And many items reviewed on Amazon will mention the product's unexpected smell. This mat does have some smell when first opened but I’m sure it will go away. I like the thickness of it and that it’s not too sticky (I like to be able to move my props around easily onthe mat), plus the design on both sides is pretty. The price is also very good compared to other mats. I have bought other Gaiam products and I’ve always been satisfied with them

this is my go to yoga mat. It is excellent quality and a very reasonable amount of cushioning while still providing the proper level of support for balance. The design is attractive, and the colors are true. Excellent value for the money. And very adorable

This is my second mat from Gaiam. I bought my first in 2022. Unfortunately it was stolen at the Yoga class, however after this happened I went back on Amazon and there were such great reviews fir the Manduka 6mm mat and even though it was pricey I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. The 6mm was super heavy to carry. I took it to Yoga class and it did NOT feel like a 6 mm mat. I was not cushy at all! I went right back to my trusted Gaiam 6 mm mat and purchased another one. What a difference between the two different brands and both 6 mm! Mind you I am in my 50’s and taking care of my joints are a priority! The only thing I will say about the Gaiam mats is when you first get them, there is a chemical smell to them but I am assuming this is from the design on the mat?!? At any rate, this goes away once you clean your mat and over time. Manduka had no chemical smell. But the Gaiam chemical smell is a very small con and goes away. You can’t beat the comfort and it’s $38 vs Manduka over $100! It’s a no brainer for me! I took one star off due to the chemical smell as it does take at least one week to get rid of!!!

This Gaiam yoga mat has a nice cushion for knees and wrists, and the grip is good for both yoga and workouts. I love the reversible prints — it looks pretty and feels sturdy, and it rolls up easily for storage or carrying.

Mi hija lo pidió hace dos años, llegó a tiempo y sin ningún problema, esta es su opinión: Me gustó muchísimo!!! Este es mi primer mat y hasta ahora el único que he tenido. El primer año lo usaba 4 veces a la semana para yoga, y por mala organización ya no le doy tanto uso como antes, ahora es más como para rutinas cortas de ejercicios variados o sólo abdominales de repente jeje. Para el uso que le des, te dará muy buena tracción y sólo si es que tu clase de yoga o rutina te pone a sudar a gota gruesa es que pueden sentir que te resbalas (me pasó algunas veces, pero la maestra decía que era normal y que pasa casi independientemente al mat, pero lo comento para que sepan mi experiencia completa). Mis muñecas no son muy fuertes y mi circulación sentada tampoco es la mejor, pero el grosor del mat me aporta suficiente suporte para que esos problemas se manifiesten más tarde en la rutina y no inmediatamente. Será porque no le he dado un uso muy rudo, pero el mat lo veo tan intacto como cuando llegó y no me ha dado problemas hasta ahora :) además sigue igual de lindo y el diseño de la flor de loto me encanta! Si necesitara uno nuevamente, gaiam estaría entre mis primeras opciones, definitivamente lo recomiendo. Si no te animas por la marca o el modelo, busca un mat de 5 o 6mm, es muy buen grosor, es cómodo, nada bromoso y ligero.

Me gusta el tapete de muy buena calidad, si acolcha demasiado las rodillas es lo que me ayuda a no sentir el peso de mi cuerpo cuando hago posiciones como el cabello o las inversiones que protege mi cuello y me gusta también que tiene un doble patrón, aunque las flores de enfrente. De repente he sentido que parecen senos de mujer, cuando hago mis perros mirando hacia abajo

Love my new Gaiam! It's the second one I get and I love them. They are affordable, anti-slip and beautiful. I have tried several brands and I don't think I will shop elsewhere now.
