Great book for thinking about how to draw buildings and cities.

If you're familiar with Ching's basic architectural drawing texts this volume continues to illustrate the methods and science for successful architectural rendering. It's not for beginners, but complements his basic texts for the advanced student.

This is an excellent book on drawing. The fact that it has an architectural bent is a positive because that is often missed in typical drawing classes. This should be a standard in beginning drawing classes. It loses one star because it can be excessively wordy at times where the writing is trying to sound more profound than it needs to, it is distracting to the actual useful content that it covers.

Great book for starting drawing in the drafting field. I only give it a one because the condition of the book binding is poor. The glue is worn already and the binding is going to come off. Probably just wind up re-inforcing it anyway. 😳

I was impressed with the 3 books from this series I ordered. They are high quality and some of the best architecture books I’ve seen.

This is a most helpful text, supplemented with illustration and helpful exercises. I think its appeal is wider than the stated audience and would be helpful for a variety of uses, including drawing and fine art students and hobbyists. One of my most successful purchases!

This is the best way to get into "technical drawing". Brilliant illustrations tips and information. A must for the student architect or designer. There was a problem with the delivery it was left at another address and that person delivered it to me this morning
