Fantastic little device. Easy to set up. Works perfectly. The clamp base is easy to remove and the feeder is easy to stick to the tank lid allowing me to utilise the feeding hatch. The instructions are good and easy to follow. It was bought for a two week holiday however it is so good it will probably be kept on the tank for permanent use.

Pond fish tested on goldfish and medium 12-15 inch koi over a short 3-4 day period. I modified the device with some 3m velcro and a small piece of polycarbonate attached to the top so that the hopper delivery hole and the device was sheltered if it rained and so that I could remove the polycarbonate again to refill it with food pellets. There are four separate programmable time slots and each slot can be programmed with either 0, 1, 2 or 3 rotations of the feeder. I was using 4-5mm pellets and I think each rotation delivered about 3 grams of food. This is not a replacement for usual quantities of food in warm months (depending on how long it is used for) but certainly kept the fish ticking over for the few days it was needed. For less than £18 it was perfect and I think it will continue to be a useful bit of kit to have for such eventualities.

Although not very clear at all how to setup due to the instructions not being great, the actual feeder is quite brilliant for the price. It holds a lot of food however I only have small tropical fish so just need a little amount but it turns when the time I want is selected just once a day and I’m using flakes too. I found it hard to find a feeder that dispenses flakes without clogging up but I’ve not had a problem with this feeder at all, no need to crush the flakes into smaller bits either like some feeders need. You can adjust the flap to how far over the feeding hole you want to keep on top of how much it’s feeding the fish.

Great product, its easy to use and programme and does what I need. Set it up early before my holiday to make sure and its so quiet I don't even realise its turned and dropped the the food for my fish. Well recommend if you have a busy schedule

Absolutely great bit of kit! I purchased this because I took on a pretty goldfish that someone didn't have the time for anymore. Then I suddenly realised we were of for 2 weeks. I read some of the reviews already on here so thought I'd give it a go. I would order a week before you need it just to make sure all the timers are set up correctly and the right amount of food is being dropped when needed. I would definitely recommend this bit of kit and I personally though it was great and not to hard to work out. Just remember if you're using flakes to squash the flakes so they are smaller to be dropped in. We had it set to a 1/4 of the opening on the food compartment. Happy Holidays and a happy fish on return. What more could you ask for.

This little unit is reasonably easy to program (although keep the instructions handy) and it works well. It takes a few trials to work out how much it will dispense for your particular needs but then it reliably does the job . I use it on a pond about 11 foot square with about 25 goldfish up to 6 inches long. I use small pellets ( not sticks. ) as these seem to work well in this unit. It can easily supply enough food for this situation for more than a week , maybe 2 although it could be adjusted for aquariums or smaller ponds . Very impressive.

Worked better than i expected. I used it for my pond and just loosely wrapped a plastic bag with a rubber band around the electronics section and created a plastic canopy over the top. I clamped it to my Japanese bridge but it could potentially be suspended over a pond by clamping it to a length of wood batten. The controls are a bit confusing at first but once you have the hang of it, it's fine. I experimented by setting the time to go off in a few minutes' time and suspended it over a bowl to catch the food. Once i was happy with the amount that was dropping out, I taped the little sliding hatch in position so it couldn't move. I found that having it 3/4 open with one rotation daily was enough to feed my pond of 25 fish for 5 days. Obviously you have to judge the amount of food it will hold against the amount of time you're away for.

Llevo unas semanas usando el Podazz alimentador automático de peces y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido para bien. El temporizador es sencillo de programar y permite ajustar las tomas según la cantidad de comida que necesiten los peces. Lo que más me ha gustado es que el compartimento mantiene el alimento seco, algo clave para evitar que se apelmace con la humedad del acuario. Lo he probado tanto en días laborables como en un fin de semana fuera de casa y funcionó sin problema, mis peces estuvieron bien alimentados. Además, el montaje en el borde del acuario es bastante fácil y el diseño en verde queda discreto. En resumen, un accesorio muy útil si quieres olvidarte de estar pendiente todos los días o si planeas ausentarte unos días. Calidad-precio más que correcta.

Went on a week long holiday that also resulted in a delay and then extended time gone, knowing I had this setup made me have no second thought. Asking someone to feed my fish daily is unreasonable and transporting them would have been impossible if you have a full tank setup. But, this mechanical let me set up up to 4 eating times, daily (I did 2), at the exact time preferred. I came home to all my fish swimming and happy. The machine itself is durable and very safely latches to a tank, even moreso if you remove the led and use some sort of mesh to cover from anyone hoping out. Pro tip: if you have snails, make sure you set the spout where the food pops out to a bit higher so enough access falls to the bottom for the snails to feed.

Both me and my partner have been trying to get it to work, we’ve tried every single setting available, but nothing works. Wish I could return it…….
