Does the job and good price!
Seems well constructed and durable. Easy to pull or cut copper nails. Looks easy to sharpen if needed as well.

It worked for what I needed it for.
I got this to cut some nails holding some shakes in. It held up and did the job. The cutting edge just could have been sharper. I tuned it up with a diamond knife sharpener I had and that seemed to improve it a bit. You do get a lot of hand vibration when you're pounding on it with a hammer but I think that's par for the course.

Excellent buy
Specific tool for a specific job. The tool is well built and was indispensable for the repairs that I had to do on a wooden shingle roof. It did require some modification to remove the particular nails that were used on the roof but I had no issues. Excellent purchase

This does work!
This does work well. However, you have to understand what you are dealing with. If the nails don't have flat heads on them, it will be difficult to rip the nails out. Finish head nails will not just rip out and if they are a decent gauge they will not just cut. Finish head nails will just bend if the material doesn't hold it in place to cut through. I had so many nails to work around trying to strip off old shake siding I ended up getting 14" needle nose pliers that would let me reach up behind the shakes and pluck the nails out. This is a great tool to have in the quiver and I would recommend it. Especially in the right circumstance.

Buy something better
Absolute garbage, one hit with a hammer (like it’s supposed to be used) and the handle pops off.

AS DESCRIBED
this tool is a very well made but not cheap or cheaply made shingle tool, it was not as sharp as i thought it would be but a few file strokes and it was ready to go to work. also, fairly priced,

Naht gebrochen
