I wouldn't recommend this vendor. Many of the products are using dated standards. It works but I experienced serious issued with iPhone devices.

Excellent little hidden gem, and VERY well supported. Like most Trendnet stuff, this one is well worth your $$. Make sure you've got a good poe+ circuit/switch, don't get cheap. We're using 3 now on a 6k sqft house on 3 floors, and they replaced 9 ap's. Touche, Trendnet!

This review applies to two TRENDnet products with the same issue, the AC2200 TEW-826 and the N300 TEW-755AP. They both have the same firmware bug. They randomly drop clients, even in the middle of streaming, and refuse to let the clients reconnect. If you reboot the Access Point, then it lets the clients reconnect immediately (until the next time it happens). Clueless TRENDnet tech support was unable to resolve the issue and told me to return the products, which I did. I say "clueless" because they completely ignored the diagnostic logs generated by the products and just ran me through the standard script, making no effort to actually diagnose the problem. These products work fine otherwise, but this issue makes them unreliable. I have an older TRENDnet product which does not exhibit this issue. I finally bought a Netgear product to replace these duds. I gave them 2 stars because if TRENDnet ever gets their act together and fixes the firmware bug, then these would be good products, just like the older TRENDnet product that I've had for years. Until then, look for something else more reliable.

I recently deployed a new TEW-826DAP and updated the firmware. Periodically, and especially with Apple devices, clients get dropped and, sometimes, cannot reconnect without rebooting the access point. Many times, I have had to turn off and on the wifi on an affected client. But sometimes even that doesn't work, so I have to dismount the AP, unplug and replug it, disconnecting everyone else in the house. This is random. I may go one day just fine and another day it happens very frequently. I am moving on to another brand and model.

Wasn't at all the Trend Net product I've come to love. Disappointed in the WIFI coverage
