35pcs 1/2" Drive 6 Point 8-32mm Metric Deep Impact Socket Set with Metal Carring Case

Update after using these sockets in a brake job on an Audi, pads, discs, calliper brackets. They are excellent, dependable. DAYUAN Chrome Molybdenum impact sockets... In the attached video I show unpacking the set, which arrived intact, the box is not damaged as in several other reviews, the set of sockets is complete, all sockets seem to be from the same source, all labelled with both laser silver print, probably etching, and stamping into the metal. CrMo material is only stated in the laser print. The sockets are matt black phosphate coated and oiled. They look good, I see no defects, the tolerances measured with a digital calliper are normal. I roughly tested the hardness of the sockets with a centre punch, which is made of CrMn and conveniently hardened in such a way, that it fails to mark the hardest impact sockets, and I have just two such oddly hard ones, and it marks OK the bulk of other CrMo sockets from a variety of sources. This centre punch was able to mark the sockets under review, so they are not the hardest in the range, but are they the softest? No, I compared them to a 10.9 bolt, and they are a few points harder, judged by a smaller punch mark. Given their thick wall construction, they should be fine for unprofessional use, I am unable to verify their longevity for professional use, and they come without any technical specs essential for professional use. It looks like that these sockets are properly CrMo, designed and hardened for toughness rather than hardness, which is good. The range of sockets is very good, includes those less popular 15, 16 and 18 sizes found in car suspension. The hub nut sizes (30-36) are only partially covered, as the range in this set ends at 32. For reference to those who are interested, CrMo impact sockets are usually of hardness HRC 35–40 although some go as high as 48. Grade 10.9 bolts are HRC 32-39, about the same as most sockets. My tests show that the sockets under review are about HRC 38-40, while my Chinese CrMn centre punch is probably HRC 42-45. In the past I used a CrV socket of about the same hardness to remove the wheel bolts insanely overtightened by a garage. After half an hour firing the socket looked very worn, but did not fail. The bolts came out, their heads looked a little twisted and the threaded part was visibly elongated. The 1/2’’ interface of the impact wrench, however, did not suffer, as it is much harder. So, the specs of the sockets under review might be in the ball park of what we need, and it is a shame that incompetent dealers cause so much doubt and uncertainty by concealing the specs and adding cheap laser labels with made-up brands having no reputation. Recommended.

Great sockets used almost every day for a year and there still going strong haven’t had a single one break. Good price for the selection. The clasps on the case are quite flimsy for the weight of the sockets so it’s sort of buckled but apart from that really good would recommend.

Parcel arrived on time. Everything is there and excellent quality. Unfortunately one of the locks was broken on the red case.

Sockets are excellent quality took off some really stubborn rusted bolts with my 1000nm impact wrench put the sockets back they looked unused even after the battering I gave them. The metal case is a bit flimsy but should last a while as long as I don't throw the socket set about Excellent value for money and a full set of sizes with no gaps

It’s nice to actually buy a set of sockets that have a full range, unlike most sets seem to miss out certain sizes. Haven’t used all the sockets but the ones I have work well undoing seized rusted bolts on my 28 year old car with my battery and air powered impact drivers The catches on the case came damaged and are a bit flimsy, but I managed to fix it, I suspect this was caused in transit, In all a good set to have, and worth the money

Good set of sockets, but the holding case they came in was damaged and one of the clasps don't work. So already I have to carry it under my arm so everything does not fall out.

Ursprünglich habe ich dieses Set als Übergangslösung gekauft, um herauszufinden welche Nüsse ich am meisten brauche um mir dann vernünftige Nüsse zu kaufen. Jedoch ist nach über einem Jahr Gebrauch keine teure Nuss gekauft worden, weil ich mit diesem Set so zufrieden bin! Also kann ich ja auch ne Rezension schreiben! Bei dem Set, dessen Bechkiste leider nicht sonderlich stabil ist, ist bei den kurzen Nüssen von 8-32 mm und bei den langen Nüssen von 10-32 mm alles in den wichtigen Größen dabei. Die Nüsse machen keinen schlechten Eindruck und sind sogar eingeölt, damit sie nicht rosten. Die Vierkantaufnahme ist passgenau, auf einem Vierkant mit Reibring halten Sie sehr gut. Die Nüsse halten problemlos den Gebrauch an starken Akkuschlagschraubern Stand und auch die Zwecksentfremdung als Ein -und Ausdrückdorn auf der Hydraulikpresse ist bisher kein Problem. Wer also als Einsteiger ein großes, umfangreiches Nuss - Set sucht, ist hiermit perfekt bedient. Selbst für einen Profi ist das ein gutes "Reserveset" Klare Kaufempfehlung !

Great socket set, but when I received them the case was damaged. Dents in the case and both clips where broken. Not the end of the world but would have been nice to get it in a good condition

Perfecte set voor relatief weinig geld. Set word hier dagelijks gebruikt voor reparaties aan auto’s. Tot nu toe is er nog geen dop gescheurd of gebroken! Zoek je een goede set krachtdoppen die betaalbaar is dan niet verder zoeken en deze set bestellen!
