A little thicker than expected but otherwise fine
The thickness makes puck lights even less elegant on a surface, but there aren’t many options to buy these sockets from.

Daisy chainable push in wiring base
Very simple wiring using spring loaded push in clip connection wiring. Provision made for daisy chaining of base socket units. For a good job, solder the wiring tips. One deficiency is that to open the base for rewiring, it is easy to break off the plastic spring clips holding the base unit together. However, those spring clips are not necessary because screws mounting the base unit holds the unit together anyway.
