Easy enough to install (although the book of directions wasn’t especially helpful). Good looking. Priced right. The set screws are a pain in the neck to tighten, but that is the only critique I have.

I have just recently found a quick way to shop on Amazon. As you know no matter what you are looking to buy there is always way too many choices which require a lot of research to be done. I would prefer doing something else for an hour other than deciding which curtain rod is best for me. I would randomly choose Amazon basics in the past but just recently I have discovered every Amazon basic item I purchased has worked out perfectly. This curtain rod included. The rod is of high quality, looks fantastic and uses great technology with its operation in the way the curtain is hung. To sum it up I am betting Amazon has an entire crew that does extensive research that I myself just don't have the time nor technology to do. I am 100% certain that if you simply choose Amazon basics for whatever you want to purchase you will get the best value quality vs price that you can find. Of course, sometimes you want to pay a little more for a brand name or more bells and whistles but for us if its stamped Amazon basics I am going to be happy with it.

These rods are great! I've purchased over 20 after the initial purchase because I liked them so much. I'm using them to hang heavy black out curtains. Great value - price and aesthetics. One star taken off because my husband complained about the install not being as easy as another curtain rod that we purchased.

This Amazon 1" black curtain rod set is so beautiful! They were easy to install and are very sturdy, Just wish the 2 curtain rods would have been 84" instead of 72". The 72" curtain rod is just BARELY big enough to cover 2 standard windows in my living room. The other 72" curtain rod works nicely for the standard bedroom window. Every time I needed to remove the curtains to wash them, the 72" rod in this Amazon set would fall apart as it was extended almost to its maximum length JUST to cover 2 standard living room windows. I ended up buying another Amazon 1" bar in a different type of a set that was longer. Luckily, that longer Amazon 1" bar worked with the mounts from this Amazon 1" set! Please make this an 84" set and it will be perfect!

Easy to install

I keep ordering these as I replace each old rods in our home. They are easy to hang, come with all the right hardware and are beautiful when installed. They look way more expensive than what I paid. I have some very heavy curtains and these rods hold them up without swaying at all but they look equally well with sheer or light weight curtains. Really good buy and good quality.

Die beiden Vorhangstangen sind super Basics, wir haben eine auf ich glaube 3,50m und eine auf ca 2m in Verwendung. Leichte Montage: Messen, Anzeichen, Bohren, Dübel rein, Halter mit je 1 Schraube rein, 2. Loch Anzeichen, bohren usw. Also wirklich kein Hexenwerk und mit etwas Haushaktswerkzeug machbar. Mit den Feststellschrauben rutscht die Stange auch nicht hin und her. Das Einzige, das man beachten sollte: Die Stangen haben ineinander geschoben ein Mindestmaß. (habe ich jetzt nicht im Kopf) möchte man die 2. Stange an ein kürzere Fenster anbringen, sollte man zb eine Flex da haben um sie entsprechend kürzen zu können -(Achtung nicht das Gewinde der Kugeln abschneiden). Wir sind begeistert vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis und würden sie wieder kaufen.
