great little metal case gigabit switch.
TP-Link LS105G 5-Port Desktop/Wallmount Gigabit Ethernet Switch, Steel Case This is not my first one of these , they use a RealTek chip set and delivers performance as good as any other cheap un-managed switch. The metal case makes it nice and robust for workshop use . comes with 4 stick on feet and PSU . the chipset gets reasonably hot when stressed with long transfers with several devices but the unit is very easy to take apart and add a heatsink if that worries you . I have had to open it and coat the board with conformal coating as my last one died due to a layer of grinding dust on the PCB ..however that's not something most people will have to worry about. If you need a gigabit switch and don't want to spend the £20+ for a netgear Prosafe this will do the job well. however the sockets are no where near as good quality as the netgear prosafe products so If you're going to be repeatedly unplugging stuff I'd consider the netgear. I suspect most people will just fit and forget with this though. all in all cracking value and performance for the cost.

Simple switch useful to network noobs
What the hey is an unmanaged switch??? It’s one of these. It’s a super simple piece of kit that can act as a hub between your router and the bits of kit you want to Ethernet to - maybe your Xbox for zero latency/max stability. It’s a nice sturdy item, small, neat and easy to position on a small shelf near your router. It’s unmanaged so generally just works without needing any configuration. Very happy with it. Recommended!

Have to change the power plug?
Maybe I haven't been living in Europe long enough but when ordering for German delivery on the .de website I do not expect tp receive the product with a UK power plug. Will change it myself but disappointed. :-(

la verdad es muy pequeño pero funciona como debe con mi pequeña red interna, tengo 3 pc y una camara y distribuye correctamente el Internet entre todas las unidades y fue muy facil de instalar.
