the product seems to work perfectly for the job, the only complaint that i have…the tube sent to me did not come with a cap. hopefully i will be able to plug the hole with something to keep the unused product from leaking or becoming hard.

The Red Devil 0641 Concrete Repair Patch itself is excellent — no issues with the product at all. However, Amazon’s packaging and delivery were responsible for the damaged container I received. The shipping box was far oversized — roughly six times larger than the 1 gallon bucket — and the only packing material inside was a small amount of paper that was poorly insufficient to keep the container from rolling around. A heavy bucket like this needs proper stabilization, not a few loose sheets of paper. Because of the inadequate packing, the bucket slammed around during transit and arrived cracked open, with product spilled inside the box. Thankfully, because I ordered more than I needed, I still have enough to complete my project. This was not a product defect — it was a packaging failure. The box also had no “Fragile” or “Handle with Care” markings, which would have alerted the delivery driver to treat it appropriately. Amazon needs to address this immediately. Heavy, breakable containers should never be shipped in oversized boxes with minimal padding. This is a preventable issue that affects customer satisfaction, creates unnecessary waste, and increases the risk of claims. Great product — but Amazon must improve packaging standards for items like this.

This fills holes perfectly but you do need to lightly sand for smoothness

this patch works really well, applying it in small layers works best, I had 2 cracks on a vertical surface and it stayed in place, it didn't develop cracks when drying, and you can push it into the crack easily

I have concrete bird baths in my garden. One developed pit like holes and the water just drained out. This was easy to apply, dried fast and hard. No more leaks!! Very pleased, and so are the birds!!

I had an old concrete planter which is maybe 3 feet tall. Over the years it had cracked, and sections fell out near the base. I was about to discard it, but thought I'd try a tube of this stuff. I applied it with my hands (using gloves) and it almost immediately dried enough to hold the broken pieces back in place. I ran it along the chips and cracks and worked it in. The next day, it was fully dry and I touched up with additional paste. I know it has to cure for a while, but after an overnight drying the planter seems pretty sturdy, and I'm so pleased I was able to fix it - not sure if the planter will survive past this season, but at least I got another year out of it, maybe more. After using this paste (I bought the tube not the tub) I replaced the top and it did NOT dry out or clog the nozzle, I was easily able to squeeze more out.

I ended up dumping all the tube cement into a container because it was hard to not have the tip drip out cement everytime i squeezed.
