The cupcake maker is ready to go, right out of the box--you just wipe it off with a damp cloth and then make sure it's dry before you use it. I'll start off by saying that I prefer using silicon molds for cupcakes and muffins, because it's so easy to pop them out without having to use extra butter or oil to grease as much, and this worked with my silicon cups like a dream! The estimated cooking time is definitely a good guesstimate, but more moist batters (like for banana muffins, which is actually what I used it for earlier today) might need longer times--but since the maker stays on your counter top and locks and unlocks easily, it's super easy to check on how they're doing. I haven't had any trouble with the tops of my bakes sticking to the top of the machine at all so far. The heat also doesn't radiate outward from the plates in such a way that it's uncomfortable to get near enough to the cupcakes/muffins to poke them with a toothpick to test, which is nice. Cleaning it is a dream! Don't use anything abrasive--I had some really thick batter that had overflowed and burned a bit today, actually, and was worried I'd need to find some way to scrape it off. All I had to do was get the thicker bits off (I used a non-stick safe scraper to pinpoint and get a thick blob off), but even the thick stuff really did just come off with a damp cloth! I had to drag someone over to see it working, because I was so sure that that would need something tougher (I hadn't made QUITE that big of a mess on it up to then!), and was so surprised and impressed with how easy it was to get it off without extra help. It heats up quickly for me, cools down nicely, cleans like a dream, makes perfect bakes....I really don't think I could be happier with it! I'm so glad I got it and I hope it lasts me for years--I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on this brand in future.

My daughter purchased this recently and while I was skeptical around how well this would work nor did I want yet another limited use specialty kitchen gadget, I was pleasantly surprised by this gadget. It's easy to use and it makes cupcakes much quicker than the oven since it's cooking from both the top and bottom plates. It's easy to clean since it's all nonstick coating so it just needs a quick wipe to clean it. Once you get your recipe and time figured out, you'll be delighted by how easy and quick this machine can roll out cupcakes. As for texture, they are a little different than oven baked cupcakes as they're a bit fluffier and have a slightly firmer outside likely because of the direct contact with the heating elements and shorter baking time keeps more moisture in them. Overall, this item is a hit. Even my wife who typically doesn't like trying different ways to do things is now using this cupcake maker over using the oven.

This thing is an amazing life saver! Our oven has been out for quite some time in which caused me to shut down my sweet treats business before it even got started. I finally became motivated enough to get the business up and running again and not allowing it to hold me back any longer! I looked up methods on tiktok, YouTube etc. on how to make cupcakes without an oven and up until then, I didn't even realize that cupcake machines were a thing. I stumbled across the baby cakes cupcake machine and eventually decided to purchase it after I did enough research and watched tons of tutorials and reviews on how to use it. I don't think that this machine is hyped up enough! In minuets you have cup cakes that you can eat as is or of course decorate as you desire. I am mostly using mine for cake pops and while I realize that this company also has a cake pop machine, from what I know about cake pops, that machine in particular will not provide the ultimate cake pop experience so I settled on the cupcake machine instead and all I have to do is break apart the cupcakes to form the cake pop dough. Works just as well as if I was using a regular oven. Of course you don't only have to use this machine for desserts. It can be used for breakfast muffins, mini pizza cups and more! This machine allows you to get creative! The best part is that even without cupcake liners, it's super easy to clean and it seems to be non stick. I didn't spray anything on mine and the cupcakes just came right on out. I did of course upon receiving it gave it a good wipe down before I used it. So far, I am very pleased with this machine! **WARNING** It does get very hot so oven mits might be a good thing to keep on standby. Also, it gets so hot to the point where if you put anything plastic on the lid even when it's closed, it melts. This I found out by accident.

such a great product, I know my mom would have loved to have had one, so easy to use, and you can even purchase on amazon a cookbook with a lot of great recipes

Works surprisingly well for making cupcakes. I have not tried a stuffed cupcake yet.

Bakes larger cupcakes perfect

Es súper fácil de usar, los pastelitos salen súper rápido y muy esponjosos, no le pide nada a un horno convencional. Salen cupcakes de emergencia con sabor riquísimo lo único es agarrarle la onda al tiempo de horneado, cuando comienza esta en rojo, al cambiar a verde puedes abrir y revisar cómo van y posiblemente después de que lo vuelves a cerrar solo les das dos minutos más y listo, pero depende mucho de la mezcla que estés usando claro. En general se me hace un producto súper bueno a un precio mucho más bueno.

Je n'ai trouvé aucune recette en français, Je ne sais pas combien de temps faire cuire mes muffins, une fois que le voyant s'éteint, je pensais que mes gâteaux étaient cuit. Après 3 utilisations, je ne sais toujours pas utiliser cet appareil comme il convient. Je ne sais plus pourquoi j'ai acheté ça, alors que j'ai un four qui fonctionne très bien... A QU'IL EST BEAU ! UN JOLI ROSE, TRÈS GIRLY, il prend bien de la place dans mon placard de cuisine MAIS je n'ai plus le goût de l'utiliser. Ce week-end j'ai fait des financiers, des madeleines et un gâteau simple, mais j'ai perdu le goût de faire des muffins. Allez courage je tentes une dernière fois l'expérience avant de le vendre sur kijiji.

Me gustó mucho, es sencillo y fácil de usar. Los cupcakes salen de buen tamaño y con buen sabor. Solo hay que medir bien el tiempo para que no salgan quemados, pero el aparato tiene luces para indicar eso.
