once again Michael Carrier did not disappoint.

I have enjoyed The Michael Carrier books.

Exciting from start to finish. Hard to put down once you start. Was pretty busy for awhile so took a break from reading. This is a GREAT series to get back in. Keep writing Michael.

I get the feeling that Michael Carrier feels that since he had a winner with his first 2 books and created a following that is waiting for his next works to come out that he can just crank out anything and we'll like it. C'mon Michael, don't treat us like zombies, we want to be entertained by action that we can believe. This book begins with a scene that is very unlikely to be able to be carried out. Really? A hit on 2 guys in their car on a small car ferry in broad daylight. That's just for starters. The book continues with 2 13 years olds that have as much going for them as Navy Seals with their abilities to navigate the backwoods and escape from mine shafts. And what guardian would allow 2 13 year olds to take off a couple of days by themselves in the backwoods anyway. There is just too much in this book that had me scratching my head in disbelief which prevented me from really getting into the action. Michael's heading downhill on this one.

I will read ALL his books

Another great book with action on every page.

It's not a great story but I enjoyed it because Carrier is a local author and uses real sites and anecdotes in his novels.
