Cedarwood Essential Oil from NOW Foods - I have bought several things from NOW foods, and I am 100% happy with them as a whole. This cedarwood oil is by far, my favorite brand. I use it every single day. I love the smell of cedarwood. The bottle states that the benefits are stregthening, empowering, and stress relief. It doesn't smell like you're sticking your nose in a cedar chest. It smells like you are taking a walk though a cedar forest. It is strong without being overpowering, or bad-smelling. I put it with a mix of other oils into unscented beard oil for my husband. I think it has a masculin scent on its own. I use it in homemade shampoo and room spray as well. I use it in my laundry detergent. I buy free and clear laundry detergent, and add spearmint oil, tea tree oil, and cedarwood oil. It smells woodsy, minty, and refreshing. It has excellent staying power. When I wash my bedding with it, it stays smelling like this until the next wash. My dog sleeps on my bed with us, so I usually swap sheets at least once a week. I add 15-20 drops to one 75oz jug of laundry detergent. One, one ounce bottle of essential oil will last about two months. None of my family really like the smell of various laundry detergents - most smell flowery or girly. The rain ones smell weird. Adding essential oil lets us make our own smells without making our own detergents - if you do it wrong, you can seriously mess up your washer. I use it in a diffuser too. It keeps the house smelling fresh and woodsy. We are outdoorsy people, so we love anything that smells like the woods.

This NOW Essential Oils, Cedarwood Oil has a great scent, good quality and excellent value! I'm using it as a bug repellent on both bare skin & clothes. It has a lovely, piney-dry scent. I've experienced no skin irritation, while keeping summertime bugs at bay. I'll be a repeat customer on this one. In fact all the NOW essential oils I've purchased have proven to be great quality & value!

I have a few different variations of cedarwood oil including Young Living, Himalayan Cedarwood from Eden's Garden, and this one. The smell of this one is my favorite by far. It smells like a campfire without the burning eyes. If you want something that smells more like cedar trees, this is not really the brand you want to go with. I have noticed a definite improvement in my sleep since I started diffusing this oil, and it is now part of my nightly regimen. I start diffusing about an hour or two before I plan go to sleep so the room is permeated with the scent. I usually watch tv or read for about 30 minutes to an hour before I go to bed, and this oil makes me feel very sleepy and relaxed. I fall asleep very easily and can actually make it through the night waking up only once or twice and being able to go right back to sleep. I even had a miraculous full night of sleep without waking up at all. I feel like I may actually have more of those as I continue to use the oil. I like it better when the diffuser stops running before it is time to get up to help prevent grogginess. It's not impossible to get up if the diffuser is still running, it's just more difficult because I am still very relaxed and enjoy the scent so much. I would definitely recommend trying this oil for insomnia. If it doesn't work, you're only out a few dollars as opposed to the more expensive brands.

As an avid user of young living essential oils I love cedarwood, but I know that oils can get expensive very fast. The NOW brand is really good as far as affordable oils go and I like their products. With this particular oil I did notice it wasn't as strong smelling as my young living version so you have to use more, other than that it's great!

I love NOW oils, i have bought them for years so I know they are strong and the real deal. I purchased this Cedarwood for my walk in closet because I saw a moth in my place the other day. I have lavender sachets spread around my house so that helps a little bit but I wanted the Cedarwood to burn in my oil burner in my closet to keep moths away from my clothes. I thought this would smell better then it does but as long as it works is all I care about and at least it smells better then moth balls and safe with no chemicals. I bought the cedar chips, balls, etc off of here and honestly they are a waste of money. Most of them hardly smell at all so I will definitely stick with this oil. I had the outside of my place sprayed yesterday so that should help too. If you are looking for an awesome smelling Cedar smell sorry you will be disappointed!

I love this little bottle of Cedarwood. The smell is perfect, not to strong or too weak. Moved into a new place and we seem to have fish moths(silvermoths). Was advised to put some cedarwood oil in some of my cupboards.
