Does NOT provide regulated 12V but decent quality.

These seem to be good quality sockets however they do not regulate 12-24V down to 12V as is suggested by the product specification. The listed short circuit protection and overtemp protection etc is not really accurate. The connectors themselves are straight passthrough from whatever is connected to the terminals. The only protection is the fuse inline with the provided cables which is labelled 10A 240V.

Brilliant robust replacements, easy to fit and great price.

Brilliant sockets. My car socket was only working intermittently so removed it, cut off the connector on the end of the wire and connected these 2 new sockets using a terminal block.Easy to do and nice sturdy replacements. Worth every penny, now going to buy another with built in usb sockets.

Complete kit

Good quality and a complete kit, socket cap is strong and fkexible. Sits bery close to surface that us the socket does not protrude too much. Needed to drill out hole a little.

Great item BUT......

Do not use the wires supplied as they will heat up or worse case a fire....... i suggest that you wire them yourself using wire/cable that is suited for the job....

Easy to install and works well

Used these to add a 12v socket in my boot for a cool box. All you need is a 20mm hole and room behind for your wiring.
