JIGEASEL MASTER - Jigsaw Puzzle Easel

You are limited as to how you can adjust this. Buy an artist's easel which has many slots you can use to raise or lower the puzzle's angle.. They are a better buy than this. I learned this too late.

I bought this for my mother-in-law. For a single puzzle worker, it is great. Stops neck aches and lost pieces. However, the puzzle activity can't be shared because only one person can use this at a time.

This easel is a brilliantly, simple, elegantly engineered solution to puzzlers' dilemmas. Yes, I love it. No more neck and shoulder stress--I can adjust it to various heights that work for me and the puzzle I'm working. It's lightweight making it easy to move to another location. The quality is excellent--even down to the little protector feet on the bottom. My 1000-piece jigboard is a perfect fit. A healthy strip of wood along the bottom holds the board in place. There is play in the two legs to allow for optimum adjustment. I find that I can use them together or individually to get the angle I want. Whether it's intended or not, I found the shorter leg to be more loose than I was comfortable with. If this concerns you, I recommend that once you determine how you will position your jigboard you tighten the bolts that hold the smaller leg. You can do this with the board in place using a screwdriver on the outside while holding the inside nut. The bonus of this whole experience is the fantastic customer support from Pete Davey at Jigworks.

For the price this item could have been made by hand. I think it will do the job but the bolt holes were drilled evenly so the two stands are not set squarely,

A simplistic but great idea! Anyone who spends a few hours over a puzzle can attest to the sore neck and upper back muscle strain. This helps you to stay seated longer. Now we need someone to create the perfect lamp to keep the glare down. :)

Don't bother. It's junk, at any price.

I really love the design and functionality of this thing, but the hinges come loose frequently and the little rubber feet don’t stay on well. I feel like it’s not very solid for the money. I assume it costs a lot because it’s real wood.

Great way to balance your puzzle board....keeps the puzzle at good angle for working on it. My husband liked mine so well that he bought one too. Easy on the neck...and very sturdy!
