Lovely colour, excellent for using as a base for blended colours
If you go back through my reviews you will see I've had the Violet Igora royals and magenta booster and now I'm on to the red! This colour range is vibrant and provides great coverage with so many mix and match options to create a colour you will love. Because I already have a faded Violet red (9.98) on my hair I knew I wasn't going to get the swatch colour but that wasn't my goal, my goal was a deep red/brown. I advise you to read up or watch the YT guides on how best to colour match to your hair and the desired effect. There are some very good YT videos from Schwarzkopf explaining the colour wheel and how to mix with different developers to get lift, new colours, highlights etc. Also remember to do your swatch test as this stuff is strong!! I split my colour with Schwarzkopf developer and also a pastel 9.5-49 to blend the various colours in my hair to give a more natural look. I'm not going to post a picture because my hair isn't the swatch colour and that would be unfair to those wondering what the colour looks like on dark blonde hair. What I can confirm though is despite having a developer and strong colours my hair feels fine, not compromised and I lost no more hair than usual when combing through after conditioning. If you feel comfortable using these salon approved dyes at home you will not be disappointed.
