HANDY! Like, really handy.
We've all got these USB battery packs sitting around, and we've all got things that only run on an X volt wall wart. This bridges the gap and makes all kinds of things 'battery powered'. I hooked this to my Waldorf Blofeld synth to make it portable, and it works like a champ. I could take this synth anywhere now. It also powered my Synthstrom Deluge with a little work in making an adapter to flip the polarity.

It works!
I'm not sure why, but at first my cable didnt work with my elektron synths. After I took a break and came back they seemed to be working well with a battery bank I ordered!

Works.
Works great with my Digitakt. Just need an adapter for the correct size.

Stopped working after a few months, also incorrectly spec'd for Digitakt (could be dangerous)
I had this for a few months, and it was working just fine. It recently stopped working for powering the Digitakt. That's when I realized: this is strictly rated at 0.75A max output at 12V (which comes out to 9W).The Digitakt technically requires 1A at 12V (12W), but will operate on a bit less power in practice. Here's an official comment from the seller in the Q&A section:"Please bear the following in mind when using USB C to poer Ripcord. Should you wish to use Ripcord with a non-standard compliant USB port which outputs more than 2.4 Amps (some high-end powerbanks on the market can output 3-4 Amps), please ensure that the average power requirement in normal operation is under 9W. Note that Ripcord has been engineered to operate in the 0-9W range, extended periods above 9W may damage Ripcord's circuitry and will void your warranty.”The Digitakt certainly can draw more than 9W, especially initially during power-up. So they're advertising this as appropriate for the Digitakt, even though using it with your Digitakt may damage it and will void your warranty. I have not yet received a meaningful response from the manufacturer after asking for clarification on this. Seems very fishy to me, given that simple math shows they shouldn't be advertising this for use with the Digitakt. That being said, maybe it's perfectly fine since they're really talking about average power usage, and the Digitakt will generally operate at lower power than it draws at power-on time.

Amazing product for the OT
I can use my octatrack with this without a problem. Hooked up to a 30,000 mha battery I’m making beats for hours.

Digitakt won’t power on
This would not power my Digitakt. I tried using it with my computer, several USB ports, iPhone cubes, a portable usb phone charger. It wouldn’t even turn on. Luckily Amazon refunded my money, but it was excited to play my Digitakt outside
