PGN UCF205-16 (2 Pack) Square Flange Bearing 1" Bore

I used these when making a 86" LG TV corner to corner swing away mount. Rock solid and smooth.

I used these bearing to mount and hold up my water wheel. They work good and the wheel spins super easy. I’ll definitely buy more if I decide to make another one!

Due to a rush, I ended up with two different brands of UCF205-16 pillow block bearings. The good news is that these PNG bearings only took 4 days to arrive. PNG was $2 more for 4, but the metal block was noticeably thicker. PNG had about half the angle slop (+-0.3 degrees) of the other brand, but even that seems too much to me. The PNG self-alignment feature seems nice to me. The fit is very tight and it will take significant torque to rotate the bearing in the block. I am keeping the PNG and returning the others.

No, they're not fidget spinners. Well, they're not supposed to be, but 2020, so yeah. Totally fidget spinners. 4 hefty chunks of metal came individually, safely boxed. They're exactly as I ordered, sturdy and ready to work for anything I need.

Bought these bearings as replacements in a vintage mechanical neon sign. They work and fit perfectly and operate silently. Don't forget to add grease through the zerk fitting before operating and when installing, make sure the zerk is easily accessible.

Dependable UCF205-16s, very easy to pre-align on the vise before final equipment mounting. To do pre-alignment I mount the bearing in a vise (sideways and with the grease fitting up or to the side), insert a 3/4" piece of conduit (at least 12" long), and apply pressure on the conduit as necessary to get the silver ring of the bearing (just inside the casting) to have the same amount of "lip" all around. Sounds complicated, but it isn't, and becomes really easy after the first couple of bearings.

Using a flat head screwdriver and a hammer, am I the only one who had to straighten out the seating of this bearings out myself? I feel like there is something I don't understand.

these bearing assemblies are in fact self alineing . quality of materials seems quite good. longevity in service has yet to be determined as these are the low buck replacements not yet put to use.
