Bought this and desolved it in water. Ive read that fake pink salt turns the water pink. It turned the water VERY pink. Anyone else have this issue?!

If you add the course grind to water it makes what is called a sole' and the water is pink for hours. I use a mason jar and fill about 1/4 or so of the salt then add water. Shake it really well and then let it sit on the counter overnight, it will be crystal clear in the morning. Don't shake it again and take a teaspoon or 2 in a glass of water. it's a great mineral drink that has 84 trace minerals in it. Don't use metal lid, most mason jar lids have a rubber ring and is okay to use. Yes, it lasts a long time. Use the 16 oz. jar.

What is the country of provenience?

Himalayan Pink Salt are always sourced from Khewra Salt Mines, Pakistan as that is where the salt mines are located

It survived since the Jurassic period, so I wouldn't worry about our expiration dates. It will outlive all of us! Enjoy!
