No, they come from flowers and plants! There are no human or animal products or by products in Andalou Naturals. Plant stem cells are innately undifferentiated cells located in the meristems of plant. When using this conditioner, do you still need a styling product to prevent frizz?

Yes, I did But I have 4c Hair so frizz is always a concern.

This new light blue bottle contains amodimethicone. Did the dark blue bottle used to contain that also? I didn't think it did.

Why sully an otherwise amazing ingredient list with Behentrimonium Chloride?

I didn't notice that ingredient but I found this Andalou shampoo and conditioner to be very harsh and drying on my hair. Won't buy again.
