After opening does not close after use
Is a solid product but after opening for use dust gets in the grooves and it wont close causing air to come through so opening another gate you get less suction. I have to hit it against the floor and shake the dust out. Not sure how to correct this have not found a way.

Dust collection system.
Does what it should. Good action. Good blocking. I used silicone tape instead of glue to prevent leak as well as allow me to change things around when i realize i did something wrong. They fit just right with a 1.5inch pvc cross fitting. Allowed me 2 lines to miter/table, suction line to vac, and random line to random tool/or floor vac.

Okay but can clog and not fully shut.
Over all like it and does the job. On the down side the slides will fill with sawdust over time and will not shut fully requiring you to UN hook it and clean the slid guide out.

Standard dust collection gate
This is just like a lot of brands of dust collection gates. Plastic ones aren't as durable as metal and may come apart if stressed, but they work and are inexpensive. This one is as good as any and a good value.

Just what I needed for DIY dust collection
Bought four of these blast gates to make a DIY shop vac hub. They seal good and tight when closed which is just what I was looking for. Opening/closing is a quick and smooth action. The gates have stood up to a great deal of toggling and shown no signs of air leakage.

Good product for the money.
Good product for the money but after some use the gate tends to not close all the way due to saw dust build up in the gate track so you end up having to use a small scribe or pick to clean out the blockage then its good as new again.

Produto de excelente qualidade. A Powertec é uma empresa america e possui uma vasta linha de produtos. Esse produto eu comprei na Amazon.br e chegou no dia seguinte, pois eles tinham estoque aqui no Brasil, mas a Amazon dos Estados Unidos também comercializa e envia para o BRasil. O melhor, é que os preços já incluem as taxas de importação. Só o prazo de entrega que geralmente é um pouco mais longo, dependendo do item. Assim que eu finalizar meu projeto de bancada para minha serra Dewalt 7492, publicarei fotos. Recomendo.

I tried making my own , took me 2 days & the blast valve leaked! Bought one of these and they are that good I ordered another one! Well made with no air leaks & no rattles on the pvc ones - I’ve seen metal ones rattling on YouTube videos . Can’t say Anything bad about it! Would recommend !
