Rotates my Seestar Telescope
Purchased this to rotate my Seestar Telescope as opposed to adjusting the Wedge makes it easier

Slimline and we’ll made
Bought to put on my Manfrotto tripod so that I can pan the camera round without moving the tripod. Nice smooth action which isn’t too loose. It locks in place easily as well and comes with a 1/4” adaptor as well. I’ve bought other Neewer products and they are good value for money.

Good value, will do the job
Whilst it is good value and does the job, there is a bit of play on the rotation even when the locking knob is fully tightened. As it’s being used for an astrophotography mount that’s not so good but it will probably work fine,

Too much backlash in locking mechanism
This is an inexpensive item and perhaps my expectations were too high. With a long lens there was way too much slack or backlash in the locking screw to make this usable for me. When not using the panoramic shift it should be locked firm. With my wide angle lens it was just about ok but then it would be necessary to remove it from the tripod when swapping lenses which is another layer of complexity to deal with in rapidly changing light conditions. I returned it for a full refund with Amazon which was easy and no hassle at all so all in all not a bad experience but the item wasn’t suitable for me.

Está base panorámica tiene un giro suave y a la vez sólido, es completamente metálica y de construcción robusta. La parte inferior trae una rosca hembra de 3/8 y cola de milano Arca Swiss. La rosca del vástago es de 1/4 UNC, la típica de las cámaras fotográficas y viene incluido un adaptador de 1/4 a 3/8.

Smooth motion
Smooth operation. Using it with a EQ mount, just wish the plate was a bit wider but that’s just for my use case. Easy to adjust and lock in position, no slop so far.
