I have the worst hair for styling as it is really thick and mop like and when it gets long goes curly (a lot of people like curls but not me) and have spent a fortune on buying "The Best" products that everywhere has to offer. Nothing worked well for me (Except Bed Head - Green one) and so I thought I would try this Pomade as I am normally a Dapper Dan man, lol, but you got more for your money here. I tried it once or twice and have not looked back! its thick but smooth and so you can literally sleek your hair down all the way if you wish (i am going for a peaky blinder look and the sleek looks nice and STAYS PUT! i wear hoods so need to re-apply small amounts during the day but its perfect, you can achieve basically whatever style you want! it looks, smells and feels great and really really easy to wash out and start again! BUY MOBSTERS- by order of the peaky blinders! lol.

I use a lot of pomades and this one is pretty good, especially as its much cheaper than some of the similar water based products out there. Smell is not my cup of tea, a little too 'alpine fresh'?..although my brother loves the smell so swings and roundabouts. Goes into longer hair ok with a tiny bit of water to make it more manageable. Hold is pretty strong and with a quick splash of water you can restyle it just fine.

Stronghold pomade is a little bit of an oxymoron, as expected you compromise the slickness of the pomade by making it gummy enough to firmly hold your hair in place. If you have relatively short hair and need something that will hold your hair back without springing back up then it is decent, if however you just want that slicked back style that does not look like wet look gel, it’s not for you. I have used it to hold my hair in to position and then added some higher end pomade to give it the right level of moisture. This pomade doesn’t smell of anything so no bad perfume smell, although it is nice to find a pomade that smells as good as it looks. Overall would recommend for someone who is looking for something very strong, but not for someone who usually slicks their hair without any problem.

I've decided to try and grow out my hair. My hair is incredibly thick and difficult to tame and I wanted to slick it back now it's got to that stage as an easy style while it grows. The problem is I didn't want to use thick gel that basically concretes it in place, I wanted as natural look as I could get. A bit of internetting suggested using a pomade. I found this in Amazon and it was cheaper compared to others so thought I'd give it a go! It's honestly perfect. Does the job using about a fingertips worth of product and keeps my thick hair in place with ease, no faffing around with hair driers etc I just wet my hair with water, slick it back, dry with a towel then apply the product. Job done. Looks great and natural instead of glossy shine, not greasy at all and feel awesome. Will definitely buy again.

I have found this the best product to give me the look I want, it seems to have the perfect consistency to give you the right look and stays all day, I haven’t found anything else comparable in the shops. I have fairly wavy hair and like the more slick back look and this works to straighten and hold without having the plastic hair appearance.

right lets ignore the product for a min. I dont think i have ever had the producers of a product on amazon directly email me trying to insure that i get the pomade because they have no true say in the tracking, even offering tracking of there own. even after i got it they let me know that there tracking says i recived it and if i had any complante i can go to them to get it sorted. that is jsut mental to me, even if its automated i still appreitiate the fact that they quite clearly care about what they are trying to sell, which by the way is very good. the pomade isnt lumpy or un even, it is very nice and smooth with a very nice smell to it. goes in well and washes out cleanly. the only small issue i had with it is i felt like it didnt have quite enough hold to last me a full day however im going to put that down to me not getting the correct one for what i need it for. i will definately be buying it again and its like 8 quid so i recomend anyone getting it, very very good for the price.

(TLDR: Just buy the expensive stuff. Would not recommend this product). After reading the reviews I was hoping to be surprised by the quality of this product alongside the price. I have soft, rather thin, hair and bought this to style a slick-back look. The reviews all said stuff like "fantastic smelling" and "better than products double the price". I found that this is absolutely not the case. I followed the instructions, warming up the product in my hand and applied to my towel dried hair. ...This stuff comes out of my hair as I'm combing it, and did not have the hold that was stated in the reviews or on the packaging. I had to use a lot of hairspray to manipulate my hair after applying alot of the pomade. This product has absolutely no scent other than a slightly soapy one. This does not compete with its expensive counterparts like REUZEL. It has no hold and combs out of your hair. It is hard to restyle your hair with this product without having to apply alot more product. Just save up your pennies and buy the expensive stuff! Absolutely do not recommend this cheap rubbish to anyone.

I received half of the tub & the colour was not blue

Smells good but was dented and open.

After about 1 hour and half. It just dissapears.. If it is windy outside.. It will dissolve. If you accidentaly touche your har, it will release the hold and just dissapear into thin air.. All these 5/5 reveiws.. I cant believe my EYES when reading them.. Someone said it hold for 12 hours...??!! WHAT?! NO! This will make your hair look and smell Great for about an hours before it just goes away for no reason!!

All inizio cercavo una cera per capelli ma ero molto titubante se acquistarla o meno.Devo dire che non me ne sono pentito,la cera si presenta di un colore verde molto voluminoso e profumato,la sua consistenza è molto morbida ma non eccessiva e piacevole al tatto.L ho messa per un paio di giorni e devo dire che mi ha molto colpito,per i suoi profumi,la sua duratura,e la sua confezione molto simpatica(modello tick tock).L unico consiglio che posso dare è di impellicolare il prodotto in questione prima di spedirlo onde evitare ammaccature della confezione(nel mio caso era lieve).Per il resto nulla da dire molto soddisfatto e a presto rivederci 😊

Not sure what happened but I received a VERY USED tin that had about 90% of the product gone.
