Quality German side cutters. They cut as well as a certain tool truck brand. If compared with tool truck prices, you would just get one side cutter on the tool truck, where here you get a set of 3 cutters for about the same cost making these a better value. Have used these to help cut oil filters open, zip ties and other things. If you need quality side cutters and are on a budget, get these over the tool truck brands.

I first purchased a set of long side cutters from a tool truck, paid over 120. for one Knipex. Thru the years other people borrowed them, and I never got them back. Seen this set on Amazon, so I purchased them. Never been more happy to have a quality set of three to choose from.

They are not meant to cut rebar. Package illustrates recommended cutting capacity. Shame on you if you abuse them. They will last a lifetime if they are not abused.

I’d say these knipex are perfect BUT that packaging was impossible to open. It says reusable tray, but to preserve that “reusable tray”, which is not that thick after all, I spent half an hour on scissoring away the non-reusable part of the plastic. What an exercise of frustration.

Finally invested in these after using the ones from the value based competitor for quite some time. Finally wore them out, and decided it was time to upgrade. And what an upgrade these are. Recommended.

I bought these for my wife who has gotten into crafting. These cut clean every time with little effort!

These side cutters have paid for themselves for how many times I used them. Sharp edges makes a nice clean cut. And it comes with 3. Asked the snap on guy what he would've charged me for this set and he said a lot more than what I paid. Will definitely be keeping these in my box.
