Previous samsung remote broke. This works great with my combination DVD/VCR recorder/player. Came from China without any problems. It is an exact replacement and came more quickly than I thought it would.

Thrilled to be able to have a working remote once again so we can operate our old Samsung DVD/VHS player. Now we can watch our favorite movies once again with pause, rewind, stop etc.

Got one and it didn't work. Two sets of batteries to make sure they weren't dead and no IR beam when viewed with a camera phone. I checked the batteries and IR beam against a working remote to double check. The DVD/VCR model is listed as compatible without programming and the buttons on the machine operated, so the machine works.I returned it and got a replacement, the same result so I returned it again. Got a used OEM one on eBay.

My elderly father lost his remote to his DVR/VHS player and needed a new one that was compatible. This one does the trick! No problems or complaints--good price too. Just wish shipping had been included as always!

As noted in another review, the battery compartment is defective. One battery will NOT sit firmly due to a piece of plastic in the molding process. Every once in a while I have to push on this battery to make contact.ALSO, not happy with an Amazon driver that stated "Your package was delivered. It was handed directly to a resident." That was a little white lie as they delivered it to a vacant commercial building and left it on the stairs NO ONE IS THERE....when I finaly noticed it, it was covered in snow but sticking out a little.

I either got an out of box failure or it doesn't control a Samsung VR330 DVD/VCR. I ordered a used remote on ebay for my model and it looks different and it did work with my player. They were great about returning it.

No programing necessary with the compatible Samsung Bluetooth VCR.
