This thing is awesome. I hated my old cheap plastic one, it would slide everywhere in the drawer and didn't have enough slots so the small forks and small spoons ended up thrown together in one. My drawer was a disorganized mess before (there's before and after pictures for proof) I couldn't even find the corkscrew as it kept getting shoved around. My chopsticks even fit along the top row! This doesn't slide around. It fits perfectly (if in doubt, the dimensions listed are accurate) and I also purchased a smaller single bin (sadly not also black) that fits beside it for the straws. I think the black looks really nice in the drawer, and the material feels nice and sturdy. My cutlery is "service for 8" so I have 8 of each item, but I have plenty of room leftover so if you have more it'll still fit.

Picture shows that we have far too much tableware, but this tray accommodates it well. I had to put alternating stacks of utensils as you see, to store them all; but compared to the old worn out tray we replaced, it allows us to store all our knives, forks, and spoons without preventing the drawer from closing. I even got a fifth "bin" on the right to store the large serving spoons that did not fit in the old unit and had to be separately stored. The unit is very well made and very attractive, is truly skid-proof and the interior partitions are lined with a non-skid insert that keeps the silverware from bouncing around. It fills the drawer nicely and even left a small space for storage of an oversized carving knife that has a sheath. I used the compartment at the top for knives, in order to get them all stored (they're bulky) but that left space behind the unit for the "extras" we keep in the drawer - pizza cutters, potato peelers, and the like. I'm really happy with the construction, quality, and sturdiness of this unit. At this price-point, why buy a flimsy piece of imported plastic that won't last 2 years? The old Rubbermaid unit was almost 30 years old and needed to be replaced; I think this one is of a quality to go at least that long!
