Actually got better charge after use?
Happy with this one! I think this my 2nd or 3rd replacement battery I was thinking this was another cheap battery like before that barely holds a charge for more than 30 minutes. This one started that way, but then I left it charging longer than I wanted (it’s important not to overcharge these) yet, it made it better somehow—I’m not sure but this battery is lasting an hour now without a plug and I’m really happy about that!

Fits the Asus Model GL551J
I've had this ASUS laptop for 9 years and the battery stopped working 2 years ago. I can still use it without a battery attached, as long as the laptop was plugged. I thought this was ASUS's tactic to force me to buy a new laptop. But lo and behold- Gomarty came in clutch. Instead of buying a $500 new laptop just for college, I only paid $35.80 for a new replacement battery. It arrived with a 73% battery charge.If you have the Asus Model GL551J, only purchase the 10.8V. Don't go higher than that, it's not compatible. I almost made a rookie mistake. THANKS GOMARTY! Now I can go to college without a worry. :)

Installed in less than a minute.
The battery pack was simple to install, and came with about a 50 percent charge. The charger did the rest to bring it up to full capacity.
