This book is very encouraging to read since it is written in very simple language. It has covered a wide range of topics with indepth explanations. I was very pleased with the diagrams and pictures that help in understanding the various concepts. I also liked the questions at the end of the chapters that test how much you have learnt in the Chapters. I think the author has done a good job in putting together real life situations in the textbook, and this is what made the book encouraging to read. Overall, the book addresses everything that is required for the CNA program in New Jersey. In addition the book comes with a CD that gives you step by step instructions for the procedures that are required for the CNA skills evaluation.The only negative of the book is the cover is inferior when considering the large size and weight of the book.

McCracken County High School - a brand new high school in KY didn't have enough texts for our Daughter to bring home her book to study for her dual-credit CNA class. Perfect solution since she didn't need the computer access code, we bought just the book used from an Amazon seller. Awesome savings!

My wife used this book for her CNA class. It is a good textbook and recommended for those serious about their career.

it was written in and it had bent pages... the only reason i got this book from THIS provider is cause they said it was "LIKE NEW".. but i cant do my test without already knowing the answers cause they were circled! pages were bent and the cover was ripped. however it was way cheaper than buying it new. i have what i need for class but i wish i could do my OWN tests without cheating..

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING A CNA COURSE.IF YOU LOOK LOCALLY NO MATTER WHERE YOULIVE, THE BOOK IS FAIRLY EXSPENSIVE. ATAMAZON I WAS ABLE TO GET THIS LATEST EDITIONBOOK AT A GREAT PRICE.

The book came on time but the package wasn't so strong. I ordered a new book that was "still in its original wrap" but it was ripped which let the warm air enter and made the first few chapters have that water-crinkled look. The package it was in was also semi ripped. Overall the book is great.

I am the Support Services manager of 2 Long Term Care Facilities and the Site Manager of an Assisted Living Facility. I am also the OH&S Co-Chair and the Infection Control Manager. My purpose for getting this book was to try to understand the workings of Care Attendants in our facilities. With this book I have been able to pinpoint problem areas and develop in-services to fix them.
