Homeschooling
I purchased this for my 10-year old son who was part of Word Masters the last two years. Since I am homeschooling him this year, he is not eligible to attend the program within the district (which I am annoyed about). So far, so good!

Not so much challenging for critical thinking
This was a useful book to work during summer break, to keep my daughters thinking critically by analyzing the given facts. I didn't find the book so much challenging though. In my opinion it may help in building critical thinking, but not to the level I was expecting. I was hoping it would give more strategies and increasing level of challenges.
