Well i cant compare this to another product.. so my experience is very subjective. With that said, i think it works fine. It grinds easily.. with the ability to easily change how corse or fine u would like ur coffee. It does take a minute but i enjoy the little effort it takes. Im a kind of guy who likes to work with my hands and harvest. This product does fine by me. Well made. Think it would b nice to have a stainless steel holding jar... Only bcuz im rough with my objects and i see the glass jar breaking soon. Just saying.

Good burr coffee grinder. Grinds are fairly consistent. The top screw which attaches the handle to the burr comes loose on mine after repeated use. This just requires re tightening every so often. I really like that the grinder can screw on to mason jars so I can grind enough coffee for a weakened. I also appreciate the silicone base to prevent slipping. This produce works as well as I would want it to. The screw becoming loose and the method of changing grind size are the only two negatives preventing 5 stars. Very happy with product

If you like to grind forever, this is for you. I use a pretty fine grind for my Aeropress. It took soooo long to grind a hopper full of beans. I have never owned a manual coffee grinder before so this may just the way it is. So the next time after about 10mins of grinding by hand, I got out my cordless drill, took off the handle of the grinder, attached the drill and started it up. Works a lot better that way. It still takes a bit of time to do. The grinding mechanism seems to be durable. We will see in the long run if that holds true.

Works beautifully! Yes, you do have to work a little harder to get your coffee, but it is perfect.

I bought this grinder because wow 9.99 primed. I did not end up liking it though because I already have a Hario hand grinder and I couldn't help but compare the two. There is a Hario one shaped just like this one I think, but mine is the portable skinny handheld one. Anyways, its not about the shape, its about the grinding mechanism. This one I noticed was less sharp and aggressive compared to my Hario. The effect of which was a really tiresome slow manual grinding process because the ceramic surfaces don't bite into the beans to grab em and crush them down. There is like a slow feeding effect going on with this grinder. I sat there just turning and turning and turning and it just wasn't really grinding the beans that fast. I had it on espresso sized grind, so that of course is slower which I expect. What it did grind up, was decent however; and so just color me unfortunate to have had a Hario to compare it to.

I love my coffee all day long and this grinder is just what I was looking for. I checked the reviews for most grinders ,found this well rated and priced right for me to try. Well I am very glad I did. As often I use my new grinder it will get a good work out. I recommend it not only here but to all my coffee drinking friends and family and will be giving as gifts to those lucky few.
