Thank you for your question! This Nori is harvested in clean waters off the southern coast of the Jindo-Gun Island, near a village of the Jeollanam-Do area & the National Park of Dadohaehaesang, made in a clean workshop, with excellent health & sanitation certifications. We don’t currently have Organic Certification with the Soil Association, which is the official certifying body for the UK, because 'organic' certification doesn't call for lower pollutant levels, but every batch is being inspected and issued a special Health Certificate upon completion by the government to testify food sanitation and suitability for human consumption and prior to delivery to our customers. Also, our Nori has been successfully tested to comply with the FDA regulations, which has got very stringent criteria for contaminants and pollutants.

I very much doubt it to be honest, it's originally sourced from lakes then dried, so I imagine freezing it and defrosting it will make it a gooey mess!!  They advise 5har it should be kept in a  cool dry place 9nce opened.
