Unholy Magnetic Monstrosity
The packaging the magnet came in was top notch. This magnet is no joke. While still in its box it was able to be held up by another of my oversized magnets, which was also in a box. Too strong for its own good, more powerful than anyone really needs for any reason. It wasn't undersized, though I had to use a plastic ruler and not my metal calipers. It might be the most dangerous toy I own.

Strong and well-made, perfect for magnetic bottle opener!
These magnets are incredibly strong. I purchased them to make a Magnetic Beer Bottle Opener and they worked perfectly. If you're interested in plans for that, check out [...] ... you just need a piece of 1x4 wood, a 2" Forstner drill bit for the hole in the back of the wood for the magnet, and a little Liquid Nails to hold it in place. I put a piece of black felt over the magnet to cover up all traces and it works great.Regardless of what you buy these magnets for, they'll work great, but BE CAREFUL. Wear eye protection if possible in case they get attracted to a nearby metal object and shatter, and only pull them out of the packaging when you're ready to use them.

Very strong magnet
This thing is a beast! Use caution handling it. I used it with a 1.75 inch steel ball to remove dents from a sax, worked beautifully.

Not durable.
It's very strong, breaks very easy. I broke one within a day of use.

Very Powerful Rare Earth Magnets
I was very pleased with these unexpectedly powerful neodymium magnets which were nickel coated for both product and user protection. They served very well my intended use of producing measurable paramagnetic and diamagnetic forces on gold, silver, tungsten, and water. These are NOT TOYS and should be kept away from children 12-years and younger. The larger sizes should only be handled by adults. For example, a pair of 1" by 1" cylinder magnets painfully pinched my fingers when I carelessly placed them together, and I later needed a small vice and pliers to separate them! Be sure to heed the warnings about powerful rare earth magnets (especially those one-half inch and larger) sent in a separate email to buyers during product transit. They are not exaggerating!

Its Great... BUT...........
This is a GREAT magnet its strong BUT not as strong as it says it does. I tested it, it can lift about 45-50 pounds. Its VERY fragile so i would make a case with duct tape and cardboard it may weaken it by like 2-3 pounds but if you don't It will shatter. In all, I loved it but be safe.

Magnet mount for Koralia 1500 through 1" wall
I have a 300g indoor turtle pond that has 1" thick walls behind the liner. I recently bought a Koralia 1500 to improve water circulation for filtration. The factory exterior magnet wouldn't even hold it up. I tried bigger magnets, including a subwoofer magnet, to no avail. This one looked to be strong enough and turned out to be perfect. I put it in an old sock to have a handle for it. Any smaller would not be enough, any bigger and it would be too much. It holds up without budging, even with big turtles climbing on it. Came insulated very well. Very powerful magnet. Pulled a screwdriver off the counter and straight up from 10-ish" away.
