I’ve been trying ONNIT Alpha Brain® for a little while now, and overall I’d describe it as a subtle but real cognitive support supplement. It’s designed to help with focus, memory, and mental clarity without caffeine, which I like because it doesn’t give me the jitters or crash later in the day

I love onnit supplements but one thing I don’t love which a lot of companies do is say “blend” then there’s multiple ingredients listed with the dosage but you don’t know the dosage of each individual ingredient in it. This is the case with alpha brain so it’s hard to know which thing is causing the negative effect. As I said, I love on it supplements and purchase at least a half a dozen different ones. But I do not love Alpha brain. I have been on Vyvanse now daily 30 mg for about a year and I would really like to get off of it. I have tried Alpha brain numerous times both before ever being prescribed Vyvanse and now that I have been on it. For clarification days that I have tried Alpha brain, I have never taken my Vyvanse the same day. I have tried both just one capsule although the serving is two, and I have tried the full serving size which is two capsules. 2 capsules is definitely one of the most negative side effects occurred. Taking one capsule I just felt spaced out and tired, but at the same time a little antsy and restless, and in a mental fog, I attributed it to maybe not enough sleep, or Vyvanse withdrawal. So I’ve tried it several times and same thing. I thought maybe because I wasn’t taking the full dosage. That is what I need to feel good on it, and for it to take effect. However 2 capsules was the same side effects but worse and when additional side effects occurred. In addition to the negative mental feelings, I also felt like I was having hot flashes and looking in the mirror I feel like I look white and completely ghost like, like I saw a ghost. And although I took with food, I had severe nausea and vomiting, and the vomiting felt extremely acidic and more painful than typical vomiting, followed by constant heartburn. As I said, I’ve tried both one capsule and two capsules multiple times each because I was convinced that it had to of been something else, and was determined to like this supplement but unfortunately, this is not for me! I would love to know why it works for some people and not others. I guess everyone’s body is different. But the way it has made me feel I can’t imagine how someone can feel good on it

I was super excited to try this product, I work 12 hour shifts at work and wake up at 4 in the morning so I was looking for a supplement to help me have more energy throughout the day. The first day I took it was the morning before another 12 hr shift, it took about an hour or two for me to start feeling it and I did feel like I was a lot more focused and awake and I was very excited for that. Then later on in the day I started having very severe (but not painful) muscle spasms in my abdomen and my tongue would also go numb. I looked through the ingredient list and researched everything and its side effects, but did not find any that were relating to my experience, so I’m simply going to chalk it up as the supplement just didn’t sit right with my body. The quality of these are good, they are very effective in helping your energy levels stay high through the day, but even after a few days of taking them, I had all the same side effects within hours of taking it, and I was starting with only one pill a day. After I’ve stopped taking them, I haven’t had any muscle spasms or any numbness. I think it’s a good product, there’s just something in it that my body isn’t working with.

Works great, I have ADD and a cloudy mind regularly. This helps clear the cloudiness and allows me to stay focused on task more clearly, I haven’t felt any negative effects since I’ve started daily for about a week, feels clean
