Gentle, Reliable Tape That Worked Well for My Puppy’s Recovery
This medical paper tape worked really well for my puppy’s post-surgery care. It was gentle on the skin, which was important for a sensitive healing area, and didn’t seem to cause irritation during use. It held dressings securely without being overly harsh, and it was also easy to adjust or remove when needed without stressing my dog too much. That balance of staying in place while still being gentle made recovery care a bit easier to manage. Overall, it was a simple but effective product that felt safe and comfortable to use during a delicate healing period.

Great for mouth taping and general use/bandages
Great product! I use this for mouth taping and it is so much better than other products I’ve tried that are specifically designed/marketed for mouth taping. The last brand of mouth tape I tried was so sticky that it left residue behind and was difficult to get off. This does not have this problem at all! It lifts gently and doesn’t irritate my skin or lips. I’ve also used it for bandages too and it does not rip away hair like many other types of tape. This is durable without being overly sticky. I highly recommend it, whether it is for general use or mouth taping!

Great for Mouth Taping
I heard about this tape on an ad for the overpriced Hostage Tape, this is the tape that they claim doesn't work. It does, it's great tape, and is super cheap. This is easily a year's supply if not more. I had a deviated septum, got surgery to have it fixed and got all the polyps and stuff fixed as well, but I was still mouth breathing at night out of habit - causing me to snore, my girlfriend said it was 'comically loud'. I put on some some lip balm, then I take this tape, roll out a piece, cut it, and put it over my mouth. I fold a little corner over so that I can unroll it easily next time, then I use that same fold to peel it off my face in the morning. Much better sleep, no more dry mouth or snoring. The 2 inch width covers my entire mouth, sticks well, no issues with skin irritation.

Best tape for older people whose skin is prone to bruising/bleeding.
First, this is the best tape you can get. Buy it. If you have sensitive skin, prone to bruising or bleeding easily because of blood thinners, or you're just tired of tape that will not come off. 3M is the "go to" company for "high end" products, not just tape, but anything that has to meet a standard, be and act the same, one batch to the next, and sometimes nitch products needed for those 1 in a million users. When the roll I was given ran out, I could not find it anywhere at all, this was a little earlier than Amazon or the like online stores. When I found it here on Amazon I bought one box each of the 1", 2", and 3" rolls, just to make sure I would have a good width tape for whatever might need in the future. It not only works for the intended purposes, but is great for grip tape you want to remove after using each time you need to, boxing tape, shipping tape too. This is the only tape I want to use when I need tape for most anything, I have it on all my axes and hatchets, and anything else I don't want to fly out of my hands from swinging, and other tools that you just want to get a better grip on. My father, in his 70's, was a 2-3 times a year visitor to the V.A. Hospital in Tampa, V.A. James A. Haley, best V.A. hospital in the U.S.A. in my opinion. He had skin that you could not even use the standard brand of "band-aids" on because they would tear his skin sometimes, make large bruises from trying to remove the heavy tape he would have on him still from one of his many 3-5 day "vacations" in the hospital, you get the idea. Well, one visit, his nurse was going through the things I needed to do or help him with, and he gave me an roll of this tape, it had been used on my father, and they could not use it on anyone else to stop cross contamination. Nicest little thing anyone had done for me that they probably didn't give a second thought to. I have not bought this kind of tape from a different brand, or a different type from 3M since. My Mother, who is 87, is very happy that I don't use anything else for her care as well. Well, don't keep reading this, buy it, hurry up!

Reasonably sticky tape, painless to remove
I use this tape for my eight-year-old daughter who is in the habit of breathing through her mouth at night. Her myofunctional therapist recommended I teach her to tape her lips shut when she goes to bed (to encourage proper nose breathing). This tape works well for that purpose. It is wide enough to fully cover both lips, and it peels off easily without leaving adhesive on her skin like some of the other tapes we tried. With the ends folded in on themselves to create a small tab, she is able to remove it in her sleep if her nose gets stuffy and she feels like she needs to breathe through her mouth. My only complaint is that I wish it was just slightly stickier, but ultimately, this tape serves its purpose and I will continue to buy it as long as it is needed.

Wonderful product for sensitive skin and allergies to adhesives, plus a great buy!!! shipped quickly and arrived undamaged.
I have extremely sensitive skin and have a true allergy to virtually all adhesives .But this tape, though not claiming to be "hypoallergenic" as some other claim, is the only tape I can use for any length of time over 5 minutes which will not create whelps, bumps, redness, itching, or take part of my skin off when the tape is removed. In addition, just one 2 inch roll at the local drugstore costs what this entire box cost! So definitely a great buy. As an RN, I have worked with at least a dozen types of tapes- all useful for varying circumstances. This tape is breathable, flexible, will not immediately come off in water and is excellent for delicate, thin, and sensitive skin. It's ability to adhere to the skin without causing problems is great, but you have to be sure the area of where the tape will be placed is clean and very dry. It is also essential to hold down/press/smooth out the tape with warm hands and allow it to adhere to the skin for a few minutes. If you apply it to an area where it will bunch up (say the inside area of the arm where it folds at the elbow), then extend the arm straight out to apply and follow the holding/pressing down of the tape so it will stick to the skin. After you have done this, bend the arm and notice that the tape should fold in with the bend, but remain on the skin, though after a time it may crease and if the area becomes sweaty or excessively dirty, the tape may begin to some off. The drawback to the tape (as with almost ANY tape) is that, when used in hot environments and moving your body frequently, the tape tends to crease and adhere to the skin "tighter" and it may become uncomfortable. For long term use for a chronic or slow healing wound, practice which angle and tape application works best and follow the instructions in the next part of this comment, whether you change the dressing just 1 or 2 times a day, this will help with costs and help spare the patient's skin and more pain. When having to perform multiple dressing changes daily it is best to first put down pieces of tape on the skin where the tape will go, then apply the bandage and tape it down to the tape already on the skin, therefore, you will not have to peel tape off the skin each dressing change. Change the barrier tape every day or even 2 days if it's still clean. If difficult to get off the skin, use a little non-scented lotion/cream to the edges and slowly add a bit more to remove it. Just remember to clean the area with soap & water and dry well before applying more tape. If possible, allow skin to be cleansed, dried, and aired out before applying again. good luck! . ,

Quality tape doesn't leave sticky residue
Great quality tape it doesn't leave sticky residue when taking it off even after getting it wet and it dries easily. Great for cuts and wounds. There is a noticeable smell but isn't a big deal to me. 6 fat rolls for under $5 is really good value.
