Can this be used on sliding glass shower doors? We have been battling hard water buildup and I would hate if this scratched/etched.

I would say it can be used on a glass shower door. Its not abrasive. I've used it on the glass to my front load washing machine which was stained from the iron in our water. Worked Great

It was a case of 8 or 12 bottles. I remember it come to about 6.60 a bottle a great price for the good work it does on stainless steel.
