Really good stone, should probably use a slurry with it but I have had excellent results with this stone, aggressive as heck to begin with but calms down to create a really clean cut. Would highly recommend

Excelent Feel
Ditching my DMT dia sharps for these, they are lighter, have better feel on sharpening, and the space between the dots that have the diamonds let the slurry settle so the stone keeps on cutting well, without any burrs and metal pieces getting in the way.

Interesting feedback
I’ve become a bit of a sharpening nerd in my old age so already own plates from sharpal and DMT and this plate has a totally different “feel” to the others.. but… it cuts like a dream and leaves a nice “toothy” edge,really sharp for my worker knives, excellent build quality and comes with easy to follow instructions ( if you can read Japanese 🙄) no signs of any wear yet…. Recommended
